All rumours livefooty. We will only lose 3 or 4. And our ins are a lot better than our outs. 2012 is Rooster Time

Not rumours; Sean Emery out, Nick Cunningham out, Matt Dodd out, Ross Campbell out, Magic out, Brad Masters out, Wade Hanson out. These are definites.
The ones that arent concrete are Glen Tonkin out, Pat Browne out, Cody Mason out.

But there is some handy players coming in. Jace Rodda(definite) Jarrod Waite(almost definite) Josh Nisbet(almost definite) The other Seal brother.

Still doesnt quite return them to the side they had last year though. When they finished 3rd. :?

I've been directed to this thread with this one...

Is there a Centenary Oval in Port Lincoln? If so...I've heard that when the Adelaide Oval redevelopment takes place, half of the Chappell Stand will be heading that way. Apparently it was built in such a way it can be taken down and rebuilt elsewhere.

Does it already have a grandstand? If not, that's where the part of the Chappell stand will be ;)

Had one a few years ago, there's a "grassy knoll" where it used to stand.

Part of their redevelopments was a commitment to getting a grandstand, guess they didn't say it had to be brand new... :D

I think we as a league had the oppty to secure some seats from the Chappell stand - the offer was accepted and will be incorporated into the new Centenary Stand. The seats are the fold-up fold- down type, congrats to those people involved to obtain a piece of SA sport history for our new grandstand... hats off

Yes you are correct trr, we will be utilising the seating from the Chappell stand. It should be great. Just have to hope that the youth that roam through the ground after hours respect it and dont vandalise which I see as a huge problem giving the difficulties we are having at the moment with vandalism and graffitti.

Dirty Harry stand sounds good to me kwf

Thanks also to everyone who made a pledge, it is not to late to get your name on the grandstand for ever ($200 pledge). Big thankyou to the PLCA and a certian PLFL club for the big 5 figure pledges they made also.

One must also thank Kayleen and the commitee for there outsanding commitment/desire and the workers & business owner who have/will donate time or products.

Can't wait

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

I think Waybacks & Souths should be made to make large contributions to Centenary Oval upgrades so they can finally have had some input into infrastructure where games are played, rather than getting to save all their money for their own clubrooms and players.... :-" ;)
