RJM needs to bite the bullet and invest some of his holiday pay in a rabbit hutch. A month ago I saw a rabbit on my lawn here in the Marion area (see things that make you laugh thread). A week later one rabbit became two and I saw them most days. I eventually managed to confine them in my back yard because the local kids were chasing the poor buggers up and down the street plus they seemed to be based in my back shed. Haven't managed to catch them yet but it has to happen. I'm sick of chasing cats out of the yard. I have to act now as one of the rabbits has built a nest in an old arcade game under my back veranda. Two bunnies are about to become several. Need to get this done before mrs rabbit gives birth. RSPCA don't want to know and my other options are full beyond capacity due to breeding season.

Just pulled up at Benalla Station behind a Cobb & Co bus. Does anyone know if that is the original Cobb & Co company still going?

..re Cobb and Co:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cobb_and_Co

Cobb and Co's operations were eventually superseded by the development of the automobile and, in some areas, by railways. Not to mention the vast amount of debt that the company had taken on due to overexpansion into industries like wool.[9] The company went into receivership in 1911 after Rutherford's death. Their last horse-drawn coach service ran in 1924.[3]

Today the Dyson Group of Companies owns the Cobb and Co coach company, which Dyson acquired when it purchased the Nixon Group in 2000. The company name has been resurrected in recent years by various operators and horse drawn coaches still operate at various locations throughout Australia

Thinks that 'The A Team' song (not the tv series) is such a nice, sweet sounding song about a drug addicted whore

Went with my gf today to Glenrowan and explored the site of the 1880 siege. It's very well looked after there and was fascinating standing on the site of the Glenrowan Inn and where Ned was captured, as well as the little building at the railway station where he was given medical treatment and read the Last Rites.

Pretty good spot isnt it. Amazing what high regard most Aussies hold Ned in, when I first went there as a kid i thought how cool was this guy and how i wish he had evaded capture on that fateful day. To think a common thief would become an Aussie icon is amazing. I think its a place all Aussies should visit.

Everyone says something stupid every now and again. In this day and age, I shuddered when, after googling myself, 16 year old me was quoted in the local paper saying "we didn't learn about half the stuff like head jobs and anal sex anyway."

After a ridiculous amount of crap today, two things occurred.

1) We are in the new house... :D

2) When we go through moving again, I have made a life long decision... Missus Parky can sit back and do nothing. Was as useless as tits on a bull throughout the whole process...

Last night:
MP: Now do we need to organise anything else?
MrsP: No it's all done.
MP: Are you sure? I want to wake up, go to work, and come home to a new home.
MrsP: It's sorted.

Intermission for sleep.

9:31a.m.
MrsP: I am never renting through ... again.
MP: What's wrong?
MrsP: I can't get the keys until 3 oçlock.
MP: Where's the fridge? (The fridge loaded with our food and my beer).
MrsP: On the back of dad's trailer.
MP: Let me make a phone call.

10:00a.m. she gets the keys. 8)

10:30a.m.
MrsP: So there's going to be no power on.
MP: What do you mean. You told me that you organised that last week.
MrsP: I did.
MP: Let me make a phone call.

10:40a.m. Power is connected. 8)

12:00 noon
MrsP: The dishwasher won't work.
MP: You've been there two hours, what do you need to wash?
MrsP: Nothing, I want to make sure it works.
MP: (whilst facepalming) Let me have a look when I get home.
MrsP: No I'm going to ring ... real estate and give them a piece of my ******* mind.
MP: Don't take your shit mood out on me, I will fix it when I get home.

5:35p.m.
Walk in the door of the new place for the first time. Straight to the dishwasher.
Press one button. Bingo.

5:40p.m. Missus Parky leaves for work. 5:45 I go to get changed...

She remembered to bring my cricket bag (haven't played in over 12 months), but not clothes. Cricket pants and an old work shirt that was stuffed in the bottom of the bag.

On the plus side, she did plug in my bar fridge (didn't fill it). Drinks should be cold, I'm going for a couple...

Pineapple juice from the lunch bar mate. Works a treat.
