I Went to SFL Junior delegates meeting last monday and sat in and listen to what was going on and the topic came up about Townies Juniors. All Clubs were told that they are coming over in 2012 and the rest 2013 and what i stated in last comment. So i Heard it from Delegates and SFL
So that' how i know
Sorry "Bluedemon" That life ? :)[/quote]

sorry but didnt they(EFC) have a meeting 2 weeks later after the Juniors delegates meeting with the SFL and asked if they(EFC) could extend for 1 more year and this raised the age from U12 to now field U13's in MSJFL but as from 2013 all Juniors Will fall into age groups in SFL.
For season 2012 14's and 16's will compete in SFL saturday and possibly a sunday side ?????

Just prolonging the inevitable. They should just get on with it. The sooner they all play together the better chance they have of developing them to senior ranks.

As far as i have heard U13's down to U8's will be playing in MSFL and if enough numbers they will put a U16's sunday side in SFL not MSFL.
I think that the Club wants to get the 14's and 16's Saturday sides up and running first then will look at Sunday sides to play in SFL.

with edwardstown leaving it would be interesting to see if they get the under 16.5 comp going as they need 5 teams to make it a working grade, last year they had only 4 teams after plympton pulled out once the season started.

Mitcham will have 16.5 team this year, so that's one more!

Not right The Edwardstown 14s and 16s are playing in the SFL 2012
The Metro South league are as weak as the SFL letting them have teams in both leagues
It should be 1 club 1 league

To set you straight they are filling a Saturday side for 14's and 16's and possibilty of a Sunday 16's and under no cirumstance are the SFL allowing these grades play in MSFL they only allowed 13's down for 2012 and from 2013 all Edwardstown will be under 1 club
so that is what u have got

Are you a parrot?? You have repeated this 3 times mate we get your point as ill informed as it is.

Edwardstown is a founding member of the MSJFL and it is dissapointing that they have a very unprofessional management structure and a weak board. No one except a small few do anything there to run the club.
The Seniors have lost 40-50 players since joining the SFL and the trend continues day by day.
If they choose to go to the SFL with all the juniors they will be extinct within 5 years a tragic situation as they once were a proud club.
EFC is a debarcle with terrible management and no support from volunteers" TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT YOURSELVES EFC BEFORE YOU IMPLODE."

take EFC out of the MSJFL and its toast..but this was always going to happen once EFC joined the SFL..so what preparations have the MSJFL made to be ready for this?..none i would suggest..just hoping it would go away..on the other hand EFC is leaking players like a busted tap and clubs in the immediate area are the benefactors..parents of kids playing juniors at EFC in the MSJFL wont go south to play sunday football in the SFL..wont happen..they will just leave..really hard conundrum and i cant see who wins out of all this..because noone does..

EFC have for a long time told the MSJFL that they were never going down to the SFL for their juniors and now they turn around 360 and head down there, big mis management from the seniors to the juniors but there is nothing better than beating EFC in a grand final though.
