I say.....leave him home as you won't progress from the group

Fabio will probably take him, depends how the appeal goes I guess.

I'm happy though as it means Rooney gets a rest over summer.

Ireland would be rather pleased with that draw I think.

The Euro is a brutal tournament, some tough groups there. Group A is weak as piss though.

Agreed but it does seem all the teams in group a are at each others skill level, so should still be a good group, but the winner wouldn't come from there u would think.

John Terry stripped of England captaincy until his court hearing which is a few days after Euro 2012 is completed.

BBC's Panorama special on the Facism and Racism in Polish and Ukrainian football:
(It's 28 mins. If you're short on time, at least have a look at the bit from 25:45 onwards)

Platini, you are a ******* disgrace. I agree with Sol Campbell - there's no way UEFA should have awarded such a prestigious event to 2 countries who's FA's are 100% tolerant of blatant anti-semitism and racism.

I'm honestly shocked that this shit goes on on such a large scale in 2012 and the authorities do nothing about it.

Bloody hell, that's sickening!!

Platini has never done anything other than further his own interests, run he game to suit his tastes and biases and line his own pocket .. How he maintains such a lofty status among luminaries of the game is beyond me!!

I haven't watched the video yet so I will comment on that when I do.

Without watching it I can tell you Poland and Ukraine got to host it because Platini is repaying eastern Europe members who voted him to head of UEFA so look for a lot of thing to be in Eastern Europe. Moscow hosting the 08 champions league, Russia hosting the world cup, this tournament. Looking to scrap the Europa league (cup winners cup would come back in its place but just be pure 2 leg knockouts except the final) making the Champions league 64 teams and having no country have more spots than 4, so it means he can spread them amongst eastern Europe.
