yeah, i heard mouse say early on that duldig "didnt have a good workrate" then later on say that the "thing about duldig is that he has a good workrate" :?

Big crowd :), great weather :) and a win :):):).
$4.50 TEDS :) were good, but what happened to the members discount of 50c  ?
Ah and to think that we were playing for the wooden spoon last week, how things change. ;)
Oh and I think Wedgie will have to put up with Sturt being above North for at least one more week :):):) :D

Strewth Dutchy, one Sturt fan claims we'll win, another offered the encouragement of "going again at Glenelg" and you and Bayman have written a virtual dialogue of replies about how deluded we all are. The carry on I have read to date from the majority of you guys is usually associated with premiership winning teams. Most of us believe we are in with a chance, same as I do.
Are you all really that confident of the result?

all friendly banter I would have thought TRB?...do we all have to be serious on here? ...Struth!!!!

Huh? I ask if you are confident and suddenly you want to back away from everything you have said?
Character Dutchy...that's what helps teams win premierships.

Confident - Yes
Character - Yes
Back away from everything Ive said - No

But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

I don't think it was reversed, looked like the ump signalled the wrong way and corrected himself.
Don't know what the free was for though, they seemed to pay cheap in the back and holding the ball in the 1st half.

no what happened was that glenelg had the kick & another glenelg player grabbed a sturt player pulling him away from the mark so the ump paid holding the man & reversed it

sturt played a very smart game after 1/4 time they filled up glenelgs forward line & choked up the free running game we had displayed in the first 1/4, sturt were also very good at breaking free & opening up their own forward lines when getting the turnover. i was dissapointed at a couple of glenelg players lack of disciplined in giving sturt the ball for their own stupidity & this included some goals & off course goals are a premium. as for the umpiring as some have illuded to, i say its (the loss) nothing to do with them for instance if (jmc) after kicking a goal & getting us back to within 15 points didn't 'touch' the sturt player, sturt would not have had the free & if the sturt player continued we may have got it, that is not the umpires fault , yes they made some mistakes but it went both ways, i think the biggest mistake today was made by the goal umpire at the northern end but that's the way it goes (sturt kicked a point that was given a goal even the sturt cheer squad didn't go up until he signalled a goal)

Was that the bloke who was about as high as the mini league goal posts???? How could he see where the ball is in the air when he so close to the ground himself

Sturt was good. Really good. Easily the best team I've seen all year. Feast took marks up back but noone had a hairstyle like a slug.

I didnt get there to 1/4 time so I missed our best footy, maybe I jinxed them?...anyway full credit to Sturt who had some great run but also got some gifts right in front of goal...Glenelg were very rusty, well I hope it was rust because if we play at that intensity and skill all year we will fill Sturts spot down low...

We were soft at the contest, undisciplined, lacked structure and went wide way too many times. Only positve I could find was seeing Fish back out there...whens Mouse back? ...oh yeah the other positive is if your going to play like that do it at this time of the year!

Also got there at quarter time...oops forgot bout the 2 start
The bays tried one too many options in just about every play after half time. Not good although Sturts pressure was very efficient.
Lucky we have Westys next week :? May be able to bounce back, and I wanna see the Willits !! :-({|=
