Apart from a couple of bad shots, the umpires not been to great at all (one stinker first dig, 3-4 ep dig)

I have not been approached to coach at the WFC this year, next year or any year. I have not approached the WFC to coach this year, next year or any year. This is an unconditional statement.

One has to wonder if the appropriate homework has been done eags. Cricket has very little volounteer support (as seen recently at your Pt Adel match) and does not have a lot of incoming revenue $. They are just getting by supporting centenary, and that pitch is questionable on most occasions, let alone having to support another one.
I know one full time sports administrator who works for the council that is totally against the idea. He is well aware that the PLCA can not sustain a turf pitch at the venue. It does not have the funds or volounteer support.
Just beacuse a few councellors want to utilise the toilets/bar/canteen that means thousands of dollars loss per year to the taxpayer.
Bad mistake IMHO but what hasn't been out that way?
Maybe the taxpayers might have their say on more money being spent out there. I think we will hear more on this one. I invite your thoughts on the issue.
Was this in Burfitt's vision?

Other clubs have their own grounds to maintain already though. I think considering your club trains there twice a week and uses it as a home ground $10k is about right.
But well done LSFC all the same....![]()

Out of interest, who maintains the pitch at Centenary?

Generally, someone with a bit of pitch knowledge (currently I think it's Greg Fiebig) helps "oversee" the process each week.
The decks can vary from time to time, but they tend to be reasonably consistent.
That could free up some cash for the PLCA or is that a ridiculous suggestion?
PS: Best country oval in Australia is a bit of a big call.

I have some insight to the PLCA cash flow and cant imagine where this extrra $4,000 per year is going to come from to pay someone else to curate the other oval?
Why not put turf at Poole as part of the redevlopment there?

Why not rip up Centenary and put a hard wicket in there then?
