I would have thought the same. Andrew Pryor has now signed up there with his brother Ian.

Did one used to play at Ingle Farm and the other at Salisbury West?

They will have to have recruited very well if the rumours of losing Ashby and Graham are true...

Gum has been talking about a Premiership at the start of the last 3 seasons
I guess if a club does that eventually they wil be right and can then say "told you so".
i think part of the problem why they cant take the next step is because of so many new recruits each season they dont actually get to gel as a team.

Birdwood, Kersbrook and Echunga would trouble most Div3 sides, Gum has no chance of a flag by adding 3 or 4 Div 5,6,7 hacks and with no game plan or tactics. Losing locals (Hutt, Randell, Prowse) doesnt help. They will be a competitive middle of the road side.

are you trolling big fella, pm me these blokes names. Noone at Gums talking Premierships. Echunga, Birdwood and Kersbrook front runners at this stage, well ahead of Gums. We will be competitive this season. Lets hope our Div 5,6,7 hacks can play well

Not trolling buddy and no need to PM names. I know a few of your new recruits and they have mentioned a premiership. All teams at this time of the year should be hoping for a premiership. Good luck to them and Gums

Can't comment on the game plan, but a few other clubs (including Div 1) should take note of the way the Gumeracha players attend game day in their very professional club attire.

They may come to the ground in a nice pair of slacks, but i'd hardly call the way they go about things as 'professional'

I think most Div 1 clubs have the same pre match dress code: Mt Lofty, Hahndorf, Uraidla, Onkas, Lobethal.. Torrens valley are the only real rabble of mullets, rats tails and speed line hair cuts

I played colts at gums 13 odd years ago now we had a good colts side just couldn't get it done. It is a pity that the club is yet to taste success they will soon hopefully.

Yes but it does promote professionalism which goes along way to building a winning culture.
