now we have all worked out why families and punters dont go the track anymore.

we have the admin price, the price of food and beverage being ridiculously high, the lack of form available, PETER DUMBERELL i mean dammerrell and his skill in generally having the winner shorter then the tote. there are a lack of activities for the kiddies out on the grass.
and by the look and action of some punters that actually go out to the trots these days it seems like they are on the grass.

I mean the place should have a warm welcoming feel to it, but recently when i was at the track i had to put up with some maniac who has carrying on and screaming, swearing, hitting himself, headbutting the wall, and then throwing his form-guide into the air like confetti on a wedding day!!!

now seriously people like this belong in an asylum, theres no place for these type of people in soceity especially on a race track.

shame shame shame

I can't say anything other then ANVIL'S JUST FINE - You killed me today...

I got the quin on race 4 - just boxed the two of them up.. but took it all up into ANVIL'S JUST FINE / SAVED A CORKA.. - it destroyed me.. even at the $1.30.. I had $250 the win on it for a $10 bet due to the quin.. + all my quaddies where I went 2 x 1 x field x 1 for multiple dollars ($5) and then 2 x 1 x 5 x 1 (missed the trot here) for $5 also..

still can't get over the fact that it lost.. maybe the Buttergig horses just aren't what they use to be...

BOTH THOSE FAVOURITES WERE DRIVEN VERY QUIETLY IN REARWARD POSITIONS
Both were given little hope to win

SCD What about ZED ?

Have to get them right every now and then Mal - I didn't think the 3 would lead like everyone else did.. the 7 got beaten 17m in a derby race... to Lively Exit.. great form and the 9 had form behind Misdgough.. the 3 was disappointing last start and when not in front is vunerable.... think it's a handy pacer with limitations and making 2 runs in a race like it did today is one of them.. put in the race, not good enough...

Im not going to have a go my friend.I regret having a 'dig' at you for the many winners that, through no fault of your own,pay evens or there abouts. The amount of winners you have forecast over the last 6 months is outstanding and if I had an emoticon that tilted his top hat at you,I would insert it..............just back there.

Spelly should be keeing the data on a user friendly spreadsheet.

I watch very closely your results,at times, funds permitting,I have a go at.I am certainly in front.Gives me the chance to have a punt elsewhere.

EXACTLY SPOT ON DUTCH, BUT THIS WAS ONE OF THE 'EXCEPTIONS' IT LOOKED CLEARLY THE BEST HORSE IN THE RACE & WOULD JUST BRAIN THEM BUT I WAS WRONG INFACT I'VE LOOKED AT MY PUNTING RECORDS & THIS IS THE WORST PUNTING DAY I'VE HAD IN OVER 5 YEARS, THE PREVIOUS WAS A TUESDAY NIGHT MEETING AT GDP WHEN MY BROTHERS HORSE WAS WORKING BRILLIANTLY, IT WAS EXPECTED TO LEAD & WIN, WELL IT LED & OFF THE BACK IT WAS CRUISING & A THE TOP OF THE STRAIGHT WE ALL THOUGHT HOW FAR THE DRIVER WENT FOR HIM & THE HORSE WENT BACKWARDS

THE HORSE HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN SINCE :Hangman: :Hangman: :Hangman: :Hangman: :Hangman: & ONE MORE FOR PUNK :Hangman:

ALSO ANVILS KILLED ME I HAD TREBLE & D/D GOING FOR $25 & OFF COURSE THE ALLUPS, SO WHAT LOOKED TO BE A SHORT BUT SWEET DAY TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE, BUT WHATABOUT DAMMARRELL, I HEARD JIMMY GIVING OUT THE ODDS ON THE RADIO ETC BEFORE THE RACES HE HAD THEM ALL (THE SHORTIES) UNDERS THE TOTE SO WHILE THE FAVOURITES GOT BEATEN I DO NOT THINK DAMMARRELL WON EITHER

BAYMAN IS WAITING TO STRIKE WHEN HE MAKES A MISTAKE & I AM PATIENT ENOUGH TO WAIT  IF ANYONE KNOWS HIM YOU CAN TELL HIM OR TELL HIM TO READ THESE POSTS OF OUR CONCERNS

BAYMAN v DUMBERell

you probably wont have to wait that long for dumberell to make another mistake on-course, it may be a little longer then johnny with his footy markets.

those pieces of paper (almost a light cardboard) are/were called slides as that is how the bookies displayed them (by sliding in the names)

i'm waiting for a night there is a power failure & p.d can not display odds & unless he has an old board in his car he wont be able to operate (i know neither will the tote)
