I wish the Media would dissect policies rather than perpetuate the circus of who knifed who and who's going to knife who.

Q, do you mean honesty and credibility is irrelevant, and anything goes if you are one of those who happen to like the politician's policy? ;)

Fabricating stories about leadership spills etc to sell newspapers is not in anyone's interest.

Probably the same as all the men who've previously weaseled their way into Labor leadership

Both leaders of the two major parties are proven liars and The Australian running a story every week on an impending leadership spill for the last 12 months is just tiresome.

Rudd has support of some labor MPS and it would appear that as each day passes and Gillard continually embarrassing herself her numbers are moving more towards the Rudd side.

The leaked video, in my opinion actually shows him being more human then anything, if it was released by Julia or her side to try and show how foul mouthed K- Rudd is then, it isnt working. He says he is struggling finishing off a message in another language, and everybody gets frustrated at times so should we expect pollies to be that much different.

Also remembering that there is a huge majority of labor voters who arent happy with how Julia got the job and how Rudd was knifed.

Rudd will challenge, I hope he wins, but if he is unsuccessful then i hope Julia still moves aside and lets someone else take up the role.

I am still constantly amazed and the self-centred selfish behaviour of politicians who would rather wreck their party and electoral prospects out of pure greed for the top job.

Abbott must be absolutely pissing himself laughing ... he's an absolute no hoper and would be just a bad a PM as Rudd or Gillard but he will be given the job on a platter by dumb-arsed Labor idiots.

I would regain any respect for Gillard if she dumped Rudd and sent him to the backbench. Labor are faarked anyway so just call his ridiculous bluff where he is obviously stating he will bring down the government if he doesn't get his way.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

I presume they would have done that but for the fear he'd quit and force a bi-election.

Actually might not be a bad idea to let Abbott try and run a minority Govt until the next election.

I'd call Rudd's bluff ... he's be a Labor rat forever if he did turn on the government, which I'd doubt he'd do because he's a megalomaniac and needs the attention.

Could Shorten serve as PM with his mother-in-law as the Governor General?
