Just a quick question for you folk, after the vote last night to make all internal transfers between the league to be valued at 2 points and to make last seasons 3 point players now worth 1 this season, does that mean players who attracted 2 points at there internal clearance last season are now worth 0 points for this season?
Any advice?

If you recruited a SAAFL player who attracted 3 points in 2011, in 2012he is now worth 1 point

Everything else stays as is

So if u recruited a guy who attracted 2 points last year, he is still 1 point this year?
I thought if u were dropping 2 points off a 3 pointer it would flow on?

It was passed a while back that all internal recruiting in the SAAFL would carry 2 points per player. Last year it was 3 for DIV 3 up and 2 for DIV 4 down. Now they have made the new rule retrospective so if you were a 3 last year you became a 2 as at last year if you were a 2 last year you remain the same as at last year.


Makes sense to me.

I was told that won't start appearing automatically until round 2, I wrote ours on by hand

If you recruited in you need to do It sporting pulse
Carry overs should be on team sheets

What i did notice on the points on the team sheets yesterday was that the points on the sheet didnt reflect what was put into Sportingpulse when a clearance was done.
I even noticed some guys who haven't dropped a point from last season as it is a new season.
