Intersting that clearances are only one player per club so far so they are not raping one particular Club as happened to them quite some time ago now.

Or of course they could develop their own players through the juniors like the successful clubs do. I have no problem with a mature age player making the decision to move to another club, but I do have an issue with juniors being pillaged by another club to prop up struggling clubs. Hackham need to do their own development, which would be easier in a two division competition.

Like Brighton haven't pillage players from neighbouring clubs in the past

Quick question: Is there anywhere I can find results and other information on SFL seasons prior to last year? Probably only require 09, 10 but your sporting pulse seems to only have last year.

How many would be against having seniors on a Saturday and all juniors on a Sunday? This may be one way attracting other clubs to the SFL.

Patrol what are you on about. I wasn't making any statements about any individual club. My suggestion was as a whole for the SFL to move all juniors to a Sunday to perhaps make it more enticing for other clubs to come into the comp in the wake of all the articles getting around in the Messenger of late.

The majority of us enjoy having the whole club day on Saturday, which brings all our juniors, parents and seniors together as one club. The Whole day of Club footy is what has in the past made the SFL such a great comp. We do not need to move our juniors to correct the disparity in the senior comp. Move to two divisons will make the comp great again.

RT Maybe by going to the SAAFL you can have your juniors on a Sunday and enjoy the less than club atmosphere of SAAFL footy.

I agree with this and enjoy having this setup. My comments aren't related to the disparity of the comp, more about making our league more attractive for other clubs to think about joining so we can go to 2 divisions. A bit of short term pain for long term gain.

PS - we're not going anywhere

Just spoke to the president and good numbers with C grade looking a real possibility to be confirmed hopefully over the weekend. Lots of interest for the C's so we have to make sure A and B's are doing well which we believe is the case. Few clearances lodged last night may not appear on web as yet but all looking well from what I hear.
