Would be interested to find out how you came to the conclusion that MacGowan, with a whopping 2 games of league coaching experience, can be rated 2nd on the list?

Actually, I was thinking that very thing myself. I would have thought the SANFL would be a very good place to learn how to manage a team and club for any prospective AFL coaches. Over the course of the last 15 years, which coaches out of the many there have been would be considered good? Centrals have luckily always had a good coach in that time (which I don't think is mere coincidence), but many clubs have had one or several terrible coaches. Where are the SANFL champions who would once have been the first port of call for clubs gone? What of former AFL players looking for a gig? Is the media pulling all the top cantidates these days?
