Matt Stringer is a hothead sniper just like his father was. can play but doesnt have much between his ears( some would say also like his father). probably suited across Half Forward. Sorry if that seems harsh, but just my opinion after playing with him and watching him play against.

Sorry don't know when the draw comes out, but here are the dates for when each of the SFL comps will commence:

PROGRAM START TIMES

1/. Saturday competition 31/3/2012 Seniors

2/. Saturday Colts competitions 14/4/2012.

3/. Sunday 22/4/2012- C Grade, Sunday U16’s & Sunday U/14’s. (16 rounds)

4/. Mini League starts 29/4/2012 - last game 5/8/2012 -

Under 8 & Under 10 M/L Carnivals 12/8/2012 at OSB/Lonsdale FC

Under 12 Carnival 19/8/2012 at Hackham FC

Aldinga, Brighton, Cove, E/town, F/Hill, H/Valley, M/Vale & Noarlunga have all nominated for C grade. It looks like Hackham are unsure at this stage, but have shown interest, so will either be an 8 or 9 team comp

"alltruth" Matt Stringer has done a pre season with Mitchell Park in preparation for his new club. Regardless of what you read, his attitude and work rate has been exemplary. As for his quality? that will be determined in the games to come. As to the others I can't help you. Unfortunately sometimes you can be typecast by the family reputation, but I havn't seen that in his training regime. We would be more than happy to have him here, so good luck to the club that has attained his services.

Definitely a big loss Rusty was a very well liked/loved part of our club. He's a great footballer and even better bloke and has given our club many years of great service. In the 5-6 years he spent with us he won a BnF and was runner up last year.
He has been basically the dream recruit both on and off the field he always supported club functions, helped with juniors and club days. While its disappointing he will be playing against us there is certainly no bad feelings from anyone at the club toward him. I look forward to catching up with him for a beer when we play Porties.

Do you have too many U18 players who don't get games every week ???
Do they struggle to get a game at your club?
Don't want to lose them to the game?? Want to keep them involved in Football???
We at Port Noarlunga require U18 Players and are willing to take your excess players ....even on permit for the year and then they can return back to your club at season's end.
If anyone is interested ...... come to the Registration Day on March 18 @ 12 noon for more information

If you had any knowledge about the team there are only 17 players that have previously played under JH at either school or club. so out of a squad of 50 i don't think only 17 will win you a premiership. The fact is that Spaz has coached 27 of those kids through school and club and thinks its a bit to early to be talking about Premierships...Get the facts right before you comment on things you know nothing about!!!
