No need for excuses Statsman as it was only a trial that meant nothing..... Lions far from full strength with plenty of good players to come into that side ... Lions used the game to try a few new things and could have won by plenty more...Dougy has them playing a new game plan so may take a few weeks to settle but it looks promising

Porties at porties this week should be a close game i feel .... Apparently Sinkers and Bergman who were named as ommissions are still playing ... picked up a couple of other handy players too i hear ..... Some young Porties blokes are talking it up as usual so it will add some spice to the game .....

Gary Dean. One of the Lions who did preseason with South. I believe he's still training with them but will more than likely play the season out at Lonsdale.

round 1 only a few days away how are all the teams shaping up? i know that noarlunga picked up a few injuries from the christies trial but hopefully most of them will be good to go. Hackham getting beaten by a C grade team is not a good sign although it will be a good chance to try a few different things and bump up the percentage when you play them

Jono do you know if darren hare has been cleared from blackwood to cove yet we are having dramas with one clearence from them a young lad who wasnt happy up there and wants to play with his mates that have come down to the shoes this year. They keep refusing his clearence saying that he told the coach last year that he would be playing up there and so that was a commitment to blackwood. Verbal means shit no contract has ever been signed as he has come through the club from juniors but they still refuse it. Just interested to hear if cove have had any more luck than we have. Blackwood are run by wankers who are dirty cause blokes want to leave when they should be looking at why so many blokes have left and work out how they can make the club more appealing and therefore retain the majority of them in the future.

I would think that Morphett Vale will be the team to beat, with Cove, Reynella and Happy Valley to be fighting to get into the Grand Final, Porties and Noarlunga to struggle, with a few of the teams from 5-8 to make some ground on the top 4

Game on Mole! Yeah nah completely agree with you mole, i think teams like Lonsdale, Christies and Flaggies will be a bit more competitive with these top sides, maybe even knock off a few, makes for a good year in a great league!
I think Brighton will be around the mark but won't match the likes of M/Vale and Cove etc.
