We had teams qualify for both a and b grade finals, and he didnt play in the loss to SP, so if you read it the right way he should be able to play in the b grade, but no doubt noone will see it that way

My apology's, i thought Risdon A's were defeated on Sunday. If they were then both teams can hardly been seen as qualifying for the preliminary finals. Risdon has only one team still alive, they both no longer qualify.

Im only reading what the constitution says mate, we qualified for the "finals" which is what is written in the constitution, it doesnt say we have to have 2 teams qualified for the prelim final.

What you are doing is putting your own interpretation on it. I believe you are wrong however time will tell. Might be worth your while getting a ruling before you play the person.

So what I'd heard was correct. Not a great look for the game.

Yeah I am not exactly sure what 'set it off'

My view is the umpires were struggling a bit under the heckling from the Warnertown fans...they tried to show some authority but were laughed off.

Once again the Risdonz fans were well behaved.

Whats the latest on the former boom player playing in the b grade finals tomorrow. Were you able to put it over the executive ?

would be interesting to see what would happen if we played him, but we decided not to just to save the arguments.

and what do u mean put it over the executive, its right there in black and white, in the constitution, im sure u have to agree bigstack that the constitution is very unclear on what it means by the way that its written, if the rule said 'both teams qualifying for a and b grade finals on the same weekend', or words to that extent i would have no problems with accepting your point of view on the matter but i think u would atleast have to agree with me that the constitution is very vague on some things. all i here from the association meetings is the constitution says this and that and we have to follow the constitution, obviously in this case it says something and means something else, but thats fine, im over all the bullshit this year anyway.

ill catch ya for a beer at the port rooms tomorrow for presentation night, my buy if u dont want to give the squids any money
