Congratulations to Simon Fuchs on being awarded life membership of the PPCA last night.
Simon's accomplishments as a cricketer are unparalleled in this region.
He was humble and grateful when accepting his life membership, which was well deserved.

Have Sollies' folded?
I didnt see anyone from Sollies at the PPCA presentation night last night apart from a junior who won an award.
Surely it's not that to organise half a dozen players or club members to attend the end of year function.
What is happening at the cattery?

The Karma bus is already gone PPL, thats what flattened your mob with in the A grade game! Ben Brown lets his on-field actions speak for him while others from your mob bagged him and South Port relentlessly. Speak up now if you like gents.
I am not one to say I told you so but .............

I wonder how often this has occurred in the PPCA:
This week's finals sees brothers competing in both games, but for different teams:
Marc Congdon (Wandies) and James Congdon (risdonsz) go in as underdogs against
Leigh Warwick (Props) and Craig Warwick (Warnertown)
I wouldnt have thought that would have happened very often

Quality batting I take it was on turf. Is the bowling top shelf or the bats a bunch of scrubbers.

i think the pitch was a bit bowler friendly due to the late rain we had during the week, i watched the game and thought 70 was going to be difficult to chase

I only saw the Southport innings but from what I saw...bowling in the corridor of uncertainty yielded plenty of wickets.
