The reserves sees the long awaited debut of Daniel Hargraves in Magpies colours. Also coming in is young Brad Mercer who has kicked 17 goals in the first two weeks of the 19s (11 last week). Hope he plays well.

Go Hargy, hope he kicks a dozen! :D

If not kick then sink.

Realise he is a fave son out at Roosterland, but seriously Wedgie, hoping to see someone who wears the black and white kick a dozen goals........ Wash your mouth out!

He can save his bag of goals for when Port play North.

You are not serious are you sturt1?

Why would we chase a guy who is past his best and now, owing to his age, injury prone? He has been one of the best forwards in the competition for a while now but our footy club is banking on the new breed, not recycled players.

I for one would have been disappointed if we had acrack at him. (I am pretty certain we didn't even enquire about him this time)

Chaplin has flown over to Melbourne with the Power as a travelling emergency. He will not be playing for Sturt on Sunday.

Well, let's hope you structure your team with that in mind. You might be in for a little surprise

I know alot of Sturt supporters did not want this guy but my understanding is he is very good mates with Brant Chambers and could have worked very well together. G Cornes didnt think that Modra and Hodges could play together as per the 93 afl prelim final where he took Hodges off  the rest is history. Anyhow we dont have him and even though I wont bag him, he is still the enemy

The Magpies by 7-10 goals for mine. They look like a top 3 contender this year.

I am looking forward to the game Jimmy, it will be a test on how we can match it with the best teams. The Blues will give it everything.

Ouch! Didn't need that, this will really put our backs to the wall. I just hope we can fight this one out, and make them earn every possession, no matter how much they lead us by.

So Feast has pulled up sore after training Friday, I presume?

Chaplin will still play for us I would have thought Jimbob.

I heard someone from the Puffs yesterday on 5AArse saying that they were taking Chappy to Melbourne because Sturt were playing on the Sunday. He said he was going as much for the experience as anything and he would be back in time to line up for the Blues. Not saying that's how it's going to work out but it certainly sounded like it.

I wouldn't be ruling Feasty out so quickly either. Wrapping ice around his knee might just be a precaution. We may have none of these guys, we may have all of them. We won't know until the day. I'm just looking forward to watching Nelson on Jarjoura or if he lines up in the back lines as suggested, Chambo vs Jarjoura. Bring it on!! Go you MIGHTY BLUES!
