Why would we chase a guy who is past his best and now, owing to his age, injury prone? He has been one of the best forwards in the competition for a while now but our footy club is banking on the new breed, not recycled players.

I know alot of Sturt supporters did not want this guy but my understanding is he is very good mates with Brant Chambers and could have worked very well together. G Cornes didnt think that Modra and Hodges could play together as per the 93 afl prelim final where he took Hodges off the rest is history. Anyhow we dont have him and even though I wont bag him, he is still the enemy

I heard someone from the Puffs yesterday on 5AArse saying that they were taking Chappy to Melbourne because Sturt were playing on the Sunday. He said he was going as much for the experience as anything and he would be back in time to line up for the Blues. Not saying that's how it's going to work out but it certainly sounded like it.

I wouldn't be ruling Feasty out so quickly either. Wrapping ice around his knee might just be a precaution. We may have none of these guys, we may have all of them. We won't know until the day. I'm just looking forward to watching Nelson on Jarjoura or if he lines up in the back lines as suggested, Chambo vs Jarjoura. Bring it on!! Go you MIGHTY BLUES!
