I see on the previous post that you have Maccy down as easybeats where the clearance page has them having some handy Ins. However this is just on paper!.

Round 1 Just around the corner now.....

Thought kangy had plcked up some quality as well, could be the old smoke screens. fallen for that once before not again

On reflection Kangy had their senior colts go through undefeated so they'll have depth and a great chance to develop kids if a few came up.
Meadows came 3rd and won the reserves so also on paper should not be in any trouble.

Whats happening at Birdwood and Kersbrook - been a bit quiet...?

Rumour has is that Echunga just signed Luke Carey from Port Adelaide Magpies, handy pick up if true but then again he could just be using Echunga as a home club for byes etc?

A good pick up. It was mentioned on an SAAFL thread that he was being chased by Salisbury North. If he signed at Echunga he must be on massive money as Salisbury North would have been offering some good dollars.

what a strange decision. money aside (not easy i know), but why would you want to play hills country when you could be playing saafl div1 ?
does he really want to play one 'real' game every three weeks ? does he really want to play in games against callington and sedan ?
from a football perspective, this makes no sense.

South Australia National Football League (SANFL) Echunga Football Club Carey , Luke Denied 04/04/12 05/04/12

Why would he be Denied? is he still a required player at the Magpies?

Boring  This comp will be a 3 team Division again, with the rest of the sides wasting their time. The Big 3 Echunga, Birdwood and Kersbrook are now stronger than last year. It'll be just a matter of who from their squad is left standing come finals time to decide who wins. The rest are playing for 4th or if one of the Big 3 suffers a lot of injuries they might sneak a 3rd placing.

Needs to be cleared from his junior or most recent club outside of the SANFL.

Incorrect, needs to retire from Port Adelaide Magpies which is a SANFL rule imposed on players who leave while contracted, prevents appearing for another SANFL club.

With the clearance methods all electronic once its lodged any/all clubs who holds a registration with a player will be notified and asked to provide a tick.
