I liked it when I first saw it.
But saw it in action and didn't. With all that red it looks too much like North's home guernsey if the players not facing you on the side where the Wolf is.

Two options;
1/ Red guernsey with a black sash,
2/ White guernsey with Black&Red sash.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Mrs ZZ commented that it looked pink. And she would know, being a girl and all.

Good call Mr66 - I reckon option 1. The guernsey looked OK just needed the black to be more prominent. One thing for sure it was easy to pick the players so it's a good step forward.

Against South in the trial and Glenelg today at a glance all West Adelaide players were easily spotted --- talking to a couple of players they said it is much easier to pick a team mate against a team with dark colours similar to our normal strip.

This was the aim of the new jumper not a fashion statement and it does seem to be effective.

I thought 'clash' jumpers were a marketing ploy...

West and Norwood's alternate strips look great, just misssing one thing, a white vee.
Can't blame them for copying the best club in town though. :wink:

West & Glenelg used to have the worst jumper clash in the SANFL.

Certainly solved now.

Although the 'wolf' on the side looks like my sister's Pomeranian x Poodle (I aint joking he looks just like it - especially the black part), I think it's quite good. Better than the Eagles previous clash monstrosity.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10
