Green-Edge on the verge of their 1st European tour win in the Tour of Catalonia. Michael Albasini has a 1:32 lead after the 3rd stage's results were annulled due to poor weather and he finished in the peleton with the other GC riders in the 4th stage. Three stages to go if he and his team can contol the race and match the other GC riders another tour victory isn't out of the question.

Plenty of quick time in Melbourne at the World track championships

Australian cycling ace Anna Meares has broken the world flying 200m record for the first time, making a massive statement about her pre-Olympics form.

The Australian women's team pursuit squad also continued their surge ahead of the London Games, briefly holding the world record in qualifying on Thursday at the world track championships before losing it again to Great Britain.

Awesome race to watch and very unpredicatable with so many sections of cobberstones.

Heard the Meares/Pendleton rivalry has hotted up after both riders used their elbows and the pom stacked it in race 1 of the semi final. Just heard that Meares easily won the 2nd race and thought she was through to final but there was an appeal and Pendleton was awarded the win so its now 1-1
