I dont think that is a requesition to be a certainly - im sure there is quite a few players in this division that could play SANFL but why would you train 4 to 6 nights a week plus work and get paid $75.00 for a reserves game when you can train 2 nights a week and enjoy your footy with down to earth blokes that amatuer clubs seem to attract. And alot of players are earning more than that anyway. I'd say with all this talk about rayner he is going to cop a heap of attention.

Not so sure. A couple of years ago when Rayner was at Woody Sth he only polled 2 or 3 votes. Then went on to play League footy the following year.

I reckon if you want to try to pick a medal favourite, go with proven vote getters. Was it O'Gorman who won the D7 medal last year? If so I would be putting some money there.

Yes and in 2010 he was leading at the half way mark of the count by quite a bit before he got injured and missed half the year also. Proven vote getter and is a Captain so I'd suggest he'd be up there again provided he stays injury free.

I think Liam Davis is a fair bet, very eye catching (at least that's what the ladies say ;) )

Not to mention the 30 odd touches O'Gorman gets on a regular basis. Plus the umps are all family. :D

Not to mention either how many touches O'Gormans direct opponent gets whilst O'Gorman roams across half back. How long till teams work this out????

I'm sure opposition coaches would be more concerned with Kennett (who i rate a lot higher than O'Gorman) Lees and even Riedy from Trial game form.

If you call sitting in front of big key forwards waiting to be hammered while intercepting kicks from the midfield roaming...

Maybe the opposition coach should put a better direct opponent on him then, because every game I've seen all the supposed 'tagger' does it bomb it in... ;)

Think you will find Mawson Lakes were ready for this happening at some stage. After last season had finished, when the maestro coach was having all the interviews with AFL clubs during September and October, before eventually committing to the Lakers, and not one of the AFL clubs who were knocking on his door, they had Greg 'Mad Dog' Kells waiting in the wings to take over, when the Riddler eventually got the inevitable call up to AFL duties. It is always tough to keep a man like the Riddler at SAAFL level for too long, with his great talents. Greg 'Mad Dog' Kells, is ready to take over with a phone call and will be ready by this Saturday to take the reigns.

The only thing The Riddler was doing at the AFL clubs was recruiting their players. Think he wants 1 more good year at Lakes then a seat along side B.Sanderson.

Seems there's an even bigger event happening this Saturday than Round 1 and a huge incentive for Central United to get up with their coach and mentor carey celebrating his 33rd Birthday. Mawson Lakes have agreed to form a guard of honor for the great man as he walks on and off the field and for rose petals to be dropped in front of him as he walks. Happy Birthday carey the first round is on me Saturday friend ;) :D

At least your Paralowie connection will feel at home with this on Saturday Riddler, from what i have been told they had to do this every week he played with them. Was a honor for most of them to walk on the field with the great man!

Riddler Is it true that you may have signed another former houghton/kersbrook player with a raking left foot and plenty of speed?
