Expect one to three high profile inclusions in Loxton North's line-up for this Wednesday's Proud Cup match at Loxton....

I'm presuming it's a different Josh Nelson to the one who played for Loxton North last week?

Heard North might be getting a few back....any ideas DW?

That would be nice!

At a guess I would say one might be a full forward? And perhaps two small, running players?

Joel Nelson was the name I heard.

He works for Australian Zircon at the sand mine.

The story I heard out of Saturday's game was that Australian Zircon wanting to get onside with the farming community are encouraging him to play for East Murray - financially. He has previously played as a contract player but not sure where maybe Barossa.

East Murray also had a ruckman by the name of Payne who is a former Loxton player that gave McConnell, Nelson and co first use of the ball.

Wunkar were not disappointed with their own form but were amazed at the level of East Murray's fitness and the way they ran the ball, they compared the 2007 Tiger outfit with that of Cobdogla in 2006.

Payne???
Never heard of him.

On that form East Murray are going to be very dangerous this year.
I heard Wunkar were a little undermanned too on Saturday, a few missing.
Also Big Red played.....

Wunkar had a full team but on their own admission are a little under done, way under done compared to the Tigers. Blokes like Big Red and his brother and a few of the new guys suffered through lack of match fitness. Wunkar did not have any trials because most of the team would have been unavailable due to vintage.

John Payne is the son of Keith Payne, he lives out past the Go Kart track. Played all his junior footy at Loxton then went to uni I think, was a very good basketballer as well.

Peter Safralidis had a brilliant game for Berri on Saturday.
I didn't realise how quick he is for a big guy.
Had the ball on a string in the second half against Renmark.
