Very disappointed if we loose both Zac and Josh but the Club needs players who want to do the hard yards and help build a successful outfit. We've got a lot of hard work ahead of us, but training has been really positive and the coaches throughout the Club are working hard to develop a winning culture. The appointment of Tony Fielke as Senior Coach has been a fantstic move, I reckon the 45 players at training last night would agree.

It's good to hear that. Nairne are a good, well respected club with a well run junior program.
I remember some great battles in '04 '05.

If Zac wants to leave, does not owe the club any sign on fees then he should be granted a clearance end of story otherwise Nairne a simply being pricks.

Pehaps a little surprising they didn't win by more than that. Would be interesting to find out if CUE only had 13 players, given thats how many were listed on Sporting Pulse (I would assume they had full compliment, but still it doesn't look good).

20 in the B's but 5 had to play A's as well and I think you will find Echunga pulled the mercy rule as the last only went 20 minutes.

I keep reading this year after year about Callington. Terrible. Makes a mockery of the competition. I'm not associated with this league but surely, enough is enough. They should be in C grade and that's it.
Who do they play next week?. Bet the opposition full back for next week would be thinking that taking a weeks holiday to go fishing would be more exciting.
I'm not against Callington for having a go and I believe a few years ago they were possibly playing in finals, but how many more years does this have to go on.

Bassani would be lucky to get a kick in street fight!!! Callington must be terrible if he touched the footy, maybe some of his players were just looking for him so they can keep there spot in the team! I saw him play B grade in the GSFL and he didn't get near it!! he's a hack!!!!

It doesn't get any easier for Callington. They play Kersbrook next week. The HFL have probably got them scheduled to play Birdwood in Round 3.

Benchwarmer, you've had a bit to do with Callington. Surely you'd like to see them be more competitive, which they could do by dropping to "C" Grade. These hidings are ridiculous, pointless, demoralizing and totally mysterious in that the League fails to act. Give some of their officials a ring and see if you can talk some sense into them. :?

Unfortunately Callington seem to think having 21 blokes on the ground is being competitive.

I'd imagine that come this Sunday they will have opened their season with 2x50+ goal thumpings.

Maybe the committee needs to do right by the playing group and ask them what they want to do as I think the opportunity to win a C'Grade Premiership would be high on most of their agenda's.
