Birmingham have a tricky away game at Molineux on Sunday. "COME ON YOU WO-OLVES!" :!: Of course, the Black Cats are most welcome to slip up at Layer Road. :D

Sad to see Luton go down. I loved them in their 70's/80's heyday - the Futchers, Ricky Hill, Mal Donaghy, Mick Harford, Les Sealey, Milija Aleksic, Brian Stein, Paul Walsh, Dave Moss..... They had some excellent players.

EPL Result 21st April

Postby johntheclaret » Sun Apr 22, 2007 10:35 pm

Man U 1 - 1 Boro.

Having just said all Man U, up pops Aussie Viduka to equalise just before half time. Managed to catch a bit of 2nd half, and Boro made a good fist of it.
Giggs and Fletcher brought on at half time and Rio Ferdinand off injured.
Hotting up now, Man U by 4 points at the top with Chelski having a game in hand.

Watching the Wolves v Birmingham match.

0 - 0 at half time with Brum keeper Doyle BOG. Pulled of a string of great saves to keep wolves out. Great open end to end game.

Revised

Wolves 0 - 1 Birmingham Cole after 53 mins. Classy goal from Cole, squeezed in from a very tight angle

Revised

Wolves 1 - 1 Birmingham Mc Indoe after 65 mins. Wolves pressing for most of the 2nd half

Stats Wolves 19 attempts on goal to Birmingham 6

Revised

Wolves 2 - 1 Birmingham. Mc Indoe 2nd after 71 mins. Been coming for some time. Wolves have too much passion and desire.

Revised

Wolves 2 - 2 Birmingham. Great header by Bendtner after 77. What did I say about passion & desire.

Revised

Wolves 2 - 3 Birmingham Jerome beats the offside trap and wins it (maybe speaking too sonn here) for Brum 89 mins gone

Playing time added 4mins

Revised

Wolves Penalty. Clemence booked for protesting. 2 mins left. Mc Indoe to take if for hat trick.

Mc Indoe misses oooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!. He has scored more penalties than onyone else in the CCC this season

McIndoe with two huge goals for Wolves, the crowd must be going nuts at the Molineux jtc?

2-2 McSheffrey levels it. You are a lucky man to be able to watch this game mate.

livescore.com had it as McSheffrey to start with but now it's changed to the young Dane.

All getting a bit tense now RM. McSheffrey just booked, Collins booked after the goal for Brum. Now Jaidi booked and given a free just outside the box.

And now Bothroyd booked. Free kick taken, but ref makes them take it again. Bruce jumping up and down on the touchline. 5 mins to go.

You wouldn't expect him to miss... especially after scoring two quick goals earlier! Great game of football, 5 goals in a little over half an hour.

P1ss poor effort RM. soft and too close to the keeper. Maybe nerves came into it. The keeper came out and psyched him out just before he took it. Came off his line and stood right in front of Mc Indoe eyeballing him.

Great game though and a great advert for the CCC. Birmingham keeper awarded man of the match.
Incidentally, Birmingham won every game that Cole has played for them.

Sounds like it must have been nerves, it's unfortunate really. Well Cole is a star so that stat is no surprise!

The CCC is a superb league, I'm glad they have started showing some games on Foxtel in Australia.

Half time at St James Park, a pretty scrappy first half and it's 0-0 between Newcastle and Chelsea.
