It wont be the same without him at the footy.

Oh really??? RIP old fella, an absolute stalwart of the MRFC who had a memory as sharp as an axe for all things PL football.

I thought this day would have come 5-10 years ago the way he coughed and still chugged down those craven reds!!

Great old bloke, end of an era. Definitely won't be the same without Barney there.
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

Very sad when I heard this on Friday. Had great times with Barney at country race meetings and local footy. One of the greatest story tellers I have ever met and a true gentleman. Vale Barney Puckridge

I have only just got back from Adelaide and haven't heard anything from the Kimba/Ranges game except for the Fitzgerald injury. However I did receive a phone call today requesting that I mark a four metre exclusion zone around the oval at Cowell for this Saturday. So putting 2 and 2 together did he collide with a car too close to the oval at Rudall on Saturday.
I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. I can't put it down.

Aker was solid, but not outstanding, he'll get better as the year goes on ;) . Ports won by 7 points over the Eastern Ranges. Tough, wet game.

I see Troy "Big Red" Olsen kicked his 1000th goal in the Mid West on the weekend. Great effort Big Fella! =D>
