After some well run heats last week the final of the distance championship is upon us.
8-Cousin Callum deserves favouritism after his very solid 43.11 win last week
4-Kiltanon Skye is the moral pick for 2nd after only being beaten by a small margin behind cousin callum
5-Irma Bale has the pace to lead and will be stronger for its run last week, defenately expect improvement if it leads a long way
3-Full Circle is the last of the interstate dogs and wasn't disgraced running 2nd to irma bale last week, can place
7-Miss Woods was the quickest SA qualifier even though she didn't win last week, had to do it hard after being crossed from box 1 and settling 5th, came home strongly to finish a close 3rd, Box 7 is defenately a better box for her and i expect her to be competing for the lead early. If she can lead or settle 2nd or 3rd I wouldn't expect anything but kalden mayhem to finish over the top of her. Great each way value!
6-Kalden Mayhem just qualified for the final but defenately has oodles of ability, his odds may be a touch short but that is deserving of a dog that is capable of so much, he will jump last and either find the pace too hot or he will storm home and run a drum, Troy Murray has a knack of winning big races and it wouldnt surprise me if mayhem gets up.
2-Elena Mclaren will be trying to set a good pace early, if she can lead then she is every chance to be right in the finish, I dont hold much hope for her but defenately has the ability to surprise!
1-Jessenia Bale needs to rail up early, if it gets crossed this race will be too hard, gun chaser at shorter distance but I just don't see her capable of winning this one.
