I know Randall 'Juice' Lindsay is still fit due to playing Mens Div 3 District Basketball. What is it about Myponga and the need to extend playing careers?

Looking forward to the game, I hope the Bombers can make a statement.

Of the fashion variety...??

Gasko, Ritter, Fishlock, Short, and Pollard back in to the As for the Emus tomorrow... did Bettermann, Draper, Lindsey, Moss, and Jolley pull up for your boys?

I believe that Baden Taylor is busy ironing his cotton shorts and sprigging up his Bluestar Boots as we speak, could be a bit of a brawl to see who goes to full folrward...

Looks like an entertaining round this weekend.

Tips for this week:

Bombers v Emus- Bombers just, 4 points.
Cove v Christies- Cove dreadful last week. Gonna go for the upset, Saints by 11 points
Edwardstown v Valley- Valley looking hard to beat this year, will win this one by about 90 points.
Flagstaff Hill v Morphy Parks- Flaggies to get over their bogey team, and make amends for last year's corresponding game despite Big Trev dominating the rucks. Falcons by 20 points.
Marion v Hackham- Could be a tight one, but the Rams for me by 36 points.
Porties v Aldinga- Porties by 55 points
Reynella v Noarlunga- Look for a response from the flies at home after last week, they'll be in the game til half time but Noarlunga too strong. Shoes by 26 points.

I dont know much about any Emu's offspring, but its possible the Bombers could have that line up again in a few years.
Fashions will be back to the early 90's by then so no doubt the Bomber boys will be look-a-likes with the Emu fathers still wearing baggy jeans and grandpa no collar tops, Think Vanilla Ice.

Bombers v Emus- Emus by 4 goals. Note that I picked the winning margin of Shoes v Brighton. I have faith in my whatsits.
Cove v Christies- Christies 6 goals
Edwardstown v Valley- Valleys by 15 goals
Flagstaff Hill v Morphy Parks- Flaggies by 8 goals
Marion v Hackham- Hawks do it for Painey 5 goals
Porties v Aldinga- f*** a pig. I'm going to tip Porties by 2 goals because lately it seems everything I tip I get wrong, and I want the Sharkies to get over the top.

So glad I raced down to Brighton oval this afternoon! What a waste of an afternoon!
Seeing as my home club is a disgrace at the moment I thought I would check out Black Caviar and a couple of the Kingston boys whilst I was down in Adelaide. Thought it was meant to be a close game!
Have to say, you may as well give the trophy to Brighton. Even though some of the old MV ladies were saying there were a few out, I don't think it's going to matter.
Number 42 is a gun for Brighton but that's evened out with wanna be Sam Sparrow number 16 playing next to him!
I was trying to convince some of the MV players to pull his stupid pony tail out!
Not sure why Mahoney persisted with playing Northsworthy in the last when they were up by 12 goals. Although I did notice him sprint 20m no problem take a make and then hobble like he had a broken leg!
Good luck to the rest of the league!
On a side note, a couple of old Morphett Vale ladies were not happy at all when they couldn't even get a cup of tea! Overhead them saying, "all I could get was some chardonnay!"

After being down by about 7 goals at half time and still about 6 at 3 quarter time the Winey's came home with an open sail to almost steal the win going down by 5 points.

Unsure whether to say today was the worst I've seen of mv in years, or perhaps the most dominated I've seen mv in years or purely was it just an off day for mv full stop.
I know I'm stating the obvious but mv are in "desperate" need for some key position players up forward, if they were able to fill these rolls then they would be able to utilise "all" their midfield as it should be used.
None the less Brighton were awesome today.

Yeah was a much better second half from the young fella's. If you take out Proctor, Middleton and Prescott the average age drops from 30 to about 22! ;)
