Rumour has it a few boys aren't happy with the new broadview coach. Especially since their $1500 a game recruit Cain 'no second effort' Ackland isn't worth the money they are apparently paying him. Maybe if they didn't start DMitchell on the pine they might have put up a better showing against Henley...

Harrison coached a lot like the 1970's. Often a player on the bench didn't get onto the ground until the 3rd quarter. Some players got very limited time on the ground. It caused a few issues. I am told it is still his way. He can also favour his boys at times.
Yep 1 loss and its all over  , didn't use the bench hey........... 2 players with injuries that don't come back on will do that to you. Get ya facts right mate.
dropkick get over yourself. I asked a simple question having watch him coach for 3 years. I have no idea what happened last week.

I hear Daz was dropped to the Reserves the week before and showed his class with a BOG performance.

You hear incorrect again mate, he hade a knee operation during pre season and only trained the week before the first game so played 2's, then got picked the next week. C'mon, if you are gonna troll atleast have some credit to the bait. As for Ackland, he didn't play round 2, so not sure how unhappy we can be after 2 games????
As for the game, Henley were far and away the better team. Our boys looked just that, like boys....the Henley players were far stronger at the ball and player. They are be every bit Premiership Threats.

Played the last trial Daz did compared to 8 trainings from Ackland and I'm pretty sure Mitch had done all preseason up until his surgery. Pretty sure Ackland had knee surgery aswell.. Ackland missed rnd 2 because of a wedding..
Is that enough credit for ya

Ok, you are obviously batting for Darren here, and Broadview????. You wouldn't play Ackland in your team? Well, we'll just offer him to another A1 team ans see who else wouldn't take him, not many IMO.

Im just saying someone who has played alot of A grade and r/up in the b&f last year and is a key fwd wld be better suited than someone who made their name as a ruckman. Doesn't matter who u are but 8trainings isn't enough to warrant a spot in the side. Thats just my opinion. Maybe he has it in his contract that he doesn't play in the magoos

Again, we have key forwards that trained all pre season and played all trial games, we are however short on Ruckman like most clubs. Ackland got in the best on the weekend, Darren did not. Do we drop Ackland so Darren gets a fair go?? This shouldn't be about individual players, yet you seem to be comparing the two?

Hollywood, sounds like you have issues with the coach for whatever reason. Look at our B grade from last week, Squire, Stevens, Parker........ can't tell me that they are not good enough to play A grade too. All coming back from lengthy lay offs and are coming back through the 2's, maybe its not a personal attack on any players, maybe its just logic?

I think i guy who is 6ft 6 and played more than 50 AFL games probably deserves to be cut a bit of slack as far as training goes especially if he is coming off an injury. From the reports i have been given he has played well and the guys roving to him in the forward line are loving it
I'm number 1, so why try harder!!

Is that the Matty Thomas from Unley (I think that was his last club) or might have been Uraidla.

But Mitcham on the weekend play a bloke who came back for one weekend WITHOUT TRAINING straight into the A grade for probably his only game of the season.
