Im just saying someone who has played alot of A grade and r/up in the b&f last year and is a key fwd wld be better suited than someone who made their name as a ruckman. Doesn't matter who u are but 8trainings isn't enough to warrant a spot in the side. Thats just my opinion. Maybe he has it in his contract that he doesn't play in the magoos

But Mitcham on the weekend play a bloke who came back for one weekend WITHOUT TRAINING straight into the A grade for probably his only game of the season.

Very rich hollywood...atleast he trained 8 times![/quote]

Some clubs call it ' different strokes for different blokes'!

Top bloke and bloody good footballer IMO.

Going well, and yes, all the boys are loving having him around.
Is that the Matty Thomas from Unley (I think that was his last club) or might have been Uraidla.

Don't think so, last club was Willunga from what i've heard.

This particular Matty Thomas is a bit of a journeyman in his footy. Has played at many clubs but devoted a lot of the past decade to Willunga and served us very very well. Champion player, much better bloke and will add definite value on the field at Broadview this season!

Heres one for the trivia buffs.

Uni were relegated at the end of 2007 after playing in the 2006 GF and losing

Will SHOC follow them???

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

gepps x players should take a long hard look at them selves especially brodie hudson and number 3 refusing to shake hands after the game because they lost, poor sportsmanship. your grown men start acting like it.

Poor form if true. Wouldn't expect something like that from Hudson?

I went and watched that game Friday night. I havnt been around amateur footy as long as a lot of people on this forum, but Henley's A grade would have to have the best foot skills I've seen at this level.
