Hope this isn't an inference agaunst the Times. Because I bet those 5 journos at a two-a-week country paper in a smallish community like Port Lincoln would be chomping at the bit make up stuff to sell papers, which will put a chunk of their readership against them.

My post was not inferring anything towards the local paper as I have never read it nor do I know any of the people who produce it. What I do know is that many journo's do not research some of their stories and print some on 'hear-say'.There was a reporter in Adelaide who was an expert in doing same and got his fingers badly burnt with a couple of stories.
Stories sell papers, let's not kid ourselves and many innocent persons have been implicated in some of them and have suffered due to incompetent reporting. Let's hope the story out of the PLFL is baseless, 'cause if it isn't, God help those involved!

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

He'd be the only one sticking to the story then

The parents of the two kids went to the house of the u/17's coach last night and confessed on behalf of the kids that it was all fabricated and offered there sincere apologies.

I applaud the parents for these actions.

Mueller will be gone from any official capacities within the PLFL and MPFC.

There will be a reporter at the BFC junior training tonight to help repair some of the damage this 'Pastor' has done and promote the good work that a lot of people are doing at the BFC.

Amen

I can see why this may have been missed over the past couple of days, but does anyone have news on Wes Bilney putting in a clearance to Ramblers? Is this legit or what?
