This is not a criticism, just a comment but this round really does highlight the fact that you must have 2 divisions asap

A lot of new faces at Aldinga this year but playing at home after last week hopefully the boys can do better and make a game of it against Brighton, tough ask but that's the way it is. Young and fit looking side, give them time to gel and hopefully play better as a team. We have 9 teams this year (U8 thru A) but we all know it's the A grade that counts to everyone outside the club so all we can do is stick together and look for improvements. Good luck Sat Gorilla Warfare ;)

As with most decisions the SFL make, it will either be left too late or will be implemented in a slap dash way that ensures it is a mess. It's a very simple process and would improve the appeal of the comp, give teams better matches each week and by default should lift the numbers of players and spectators partcipating.

I understand it would be a difficult decision for a club that would be on the Fringe of Div1 or on the high side of Div 2, but this is a decision that needs to be taken for the good of the whole comp, not just a few teams. How many kids will want to stick around clubs that can't have any success. The only answer then becomes money which eventually spirals out of control. You only need to look at some of the figures being paid to players in the country leagues.

There's only 2 games this week that are likely to be a contest, the rest will almost certainly be smashings.

Reality check for a few teams today. Thought about going and watching the first SFL game for the year today glad I didn't. May wait to late August now. Time for the power clubs to grow some balls and unite together and approach the board and demand change. They complain about the comp well act on it. People power talks.

Another bunch of riveting games this week! When will this joke of a league go to two divisions?

When the league stops being gutless and disorganised, i.e. when pigs fly.

Inside 50 count, heavily in mv favour, as scoring shots would suggest, in mv favour, but....... Bottom line is hallet cove made EVERY post a winner and well done to them.

As I said last week mv in desperate need of key position forwards. Anyone 6 foot or above out there that can kick accurately for goal and doesn't mind taking a grab, mv require you're assistance!
