this weekend the Adelaide Adrenaline are playing back to back games at the Icearena Thebarton. It is 39 dollars for a family of 4 or 17.50 for an adult. 15 dollars concession. Get down there to watch some great Ice Hockey. games start @ 4.30pm Adelaide time.

From the Gold Coast Blue Tongues from where I was standing (On the bench, at ice level) the hit was clean and completely legal, he did not leave his feet and primary contact was shoulder to chest on the front side. He intentionally did not retaliate or return punches as he did not want to be ejected from the game. Greg Bay is one of the toughest guys you will meet and is quite capable of holding his own in a fight. He was doing the right thing by his teammates in trying not to get thrown out of the game.
I know which box he was in as I stand near it as a Mustangs fan. In the AIHL there is a no fighting rule and if you do fight it is game. So yup he choose to Turtle. Could be some repercussions on the ice player for the fight also.
