Rooney £30m, Berbatov £30.9m, Hernandez £14m, Ferdinand £25m, De Gea £18m, Young £20m, Valencia £18m, Nani £17m, Jones £16.5m, Carrick £18m, Anderson £18m. Man City bought the league.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Money Spent on Transfers in EPL 1992-2011

Chavski £744m
Shiteh £649m
Liverpool £552m
United £483m
Spurs £412m
Newcastle £345m
Arsenal £341m
Villa £305m
Sunderland £230m
Everton £218m

Maybe Fergie just gets more bang for his buck.
Equates to just over £45m/title compared to Shitehs £649m/title.
United and Arsenal have done well for that budget, Cant believe how much Liverpool have blown.
Chavs have spent the most but the majority would be since Roman took over and they have multiple trophies to show for it at least.

We still had a heap of United youth in our squad, Shitehs are all mercenaries, when the Arabs get bored with their toy Shiteh will be back in the Championship League within a couple of years.

Why should i be gracious to those trash.
Would rather a real club like Liverpool or Arsenal win it than a pretend club

Reality is no matter who wins the league, they will have "bought" it.. unless a team fields a squad of 100% local players...

Are United supporters all suffering from "head-up-arse" syndrome? ;)

See we are similar to Port after all ;)
We have been spoilt by excellance and hate coming second.
In nearly 40 years of supporting United this hurts the most, any other mob winning it would have been better

QPR survive :D Commiserations to Bolton...

Dont have foxtel but stayed up and listened to the game on 5rph. Superb drama. Would have loved to see QPR hold on for the win, but I guess Man U missing out on another title wasn't a bad consolation prize.

Well done to Hughesy, dont reckon he will keep his job though.
For all the money spent QPR should of been safe months ago, they have a decent squad

True Jim. Was a very mediocre season. Had some good, unexpected wins along the way, but were very ordinary against some of the lower ranked teams.

Bad luck to your boys.

Surely Barton has played his last EPL game? should have been rubbed out of the league along time ago... disgrace to the game!

At the end of the day we were not good enough.
Lost to Wigan and conceded 2 goals at the death against Everton.
Loss might be a blessing in disguise, need a big cleanout.
We have come back before im sure we can do it again.
Your mob just needed to shore up the defence a bit more this season, be intetesting to know if all 3 promted sides have ever all stayed up. Cant remember it happening too often usually at least 1 goes straight back down

Very lucky Shiteh won in the end.
He would have been lynched if they lost the league due to his moment of madness.
Good player, just an absolute disgrace discipline wise.

It's been said before, but there is nothing like the final day of the EPL .. Usually the excitement revolves around the relegation battle, but that was just incredible last night

We now have the Citeh experiement that has worked.

QPR and their rich owners have managed to get a side from the championship and remain in the EPL, now for them to build on that. Fairly succesful i would say!

Here we go whose next in line would it be a side like Stoke who has a massive passionate supporter base similar to where Man City were at before being bought out. Will it be a struggling but proud club like Aston Villa with all the infrastructure in place, a manager they can get rid of easily.

My tip 1 more EPL side next season will have been bought out by extremly rich owners and they will begin to play fantasy football.

True.
Still yet to be seen how long these clubs remain a power for though.
I remember when Abramovich bought the Chavs and everyone said they will dominate the league for years, they are still a very formidable side but they havnt dominated like they should have. Walker tried it at Rovers in the 90's and gained 1 title. Think Shiteh will be around for a few years but hopefully not long.
Didnt Reading just get bought out by billionaires, they may be the next to watch.
Teams like the Jacks and Stoke have done awesome on shoestring budgets

Have heard that Kenny will step down and move to director of coaching and Roberto Martinez to be announced as Liverpools new manager.
Let the silly season begin.
Got the olympics and Euro's before we are back into it in a few months time
