I would back beeroclock's credentials any day. He has been involved in a lot of premierships as a player and coach over the years. His observations are spot on. Half way through the third qtr, Mawson Lakes were 7 goals up and from that point they were smashed in the centre clearances, which is why Ingle Farm hit the front twice in the last qtr. The player most responsible for winning the centre clearances for Ingle Farm was M Smart who turned back the clock a few years. So, the challenge for Ingle Farm is to maintain the focus on the footy for all 4 qtrs, not just the last qtr and a half. If they do this then their first win is not far away.

Blind Freddy could have worked out that ML were getting smashed at the clearances in the 2nd half, but Blind Freddy should also have pointed out that Ingle Farm's lack of discipline (in the 1st half) probably cost them the game. By all reports this Knowles bloke that is coaching I/F is held in high regard, but if the players keep up the 'Coach Killer' acts like they did in the 1st half, well the players have only got themselves to blame if he walks.

The biggest observation you could take out of the game, was Ingle Farm's lack of discipline in the first half. Cost them the game. Some brain surgeon must have told them, that perhaps making the ball the objective rather than the man will work. Cos that's what got them back into the game. You did make one smart and obvious comment though, no.29 is a gun. It looked like it was him versus ML at times, and he had a chance to win it, but was probably tired after already kicking half a dozen.

Maybe YOU should be embarassed that Ingle Farm playing 1 down for a half and 2 down for a quarter came from 5 goals down to hit the lead THREE times in the last quarter before losing..

Ever heard of a SORE WINNER?!... Give you a hint ... MAWSON LAKES!!

Sorry you didnt get the % booster you expected

No sore winers out Mozzie Lakes way Phantom. Just very happy to get the win, as Ingle Farm vindicated my earlier point, that there appears to be no easy games in this division thus making it a strong comp. Again injuries and unavailibilites will play a big part in this comp, and whilst the Saints weren't far off full strength, I felt the Riddler missed the services of midfielder Lachlan Kennett yesterday. Ingle Farms onballers had a great last term and Lynch was extraordinary. One of the best single handed performance I've seen against the Saints in recent times. Doesn't get any easier for us as we have Lockleys this week, and we've probably used 2 'Get out of Jail' cards this year already. Phantom stop posting after all those cans each Saturday Night and just concentrate on that wide half forward flank you seem to own at Rowe Park. ;)

Who is this N.Lynch from Ingle Farm? Key forward? 9 goals not a bad effort.

A very frustrated loss again mate. I'm sure people watching the game would've been very happy with what they witnessed (Although obviously Lockleys supporters would be happier) with over 40 goals being kicked by 2 very even sides. C/U started well with the breeze having a nice lead at 1/4 time then played a very good 15mins of the 2nd 1/4 to let it all slip in the last 10mins and allow Lockleys to bang on from memory about 8 goals in 10mins including 7 in a row.

Again for C/U words were needed at half time and played a great 3rd term with a very healthy lead at 3 1/4 time. But in the last to lockleys credit they got momentum there tails up and run away with the game C/U lost Woody very early in the last Knocked out and number #1 for Lockleys (skipper i think) and #2 off a wing ran a muck to get them across the line. Big Glenn Sanford played his first game and could be a great IN for Lockleys will get better and better.

A huge thank you to Lockleys for there hospitality after the game.

It was a really good game of footy. 3rd quarter definitely won it for us. I was really impressed with CLG's ability to move the ball quickly from defence and hit their forward targets. I would imagine they will worry sides on bigger ovals.

B grade was also a very highly skilled spectacle..havent seen TOS B grade yet but the cats were easily the best we have played in the B grade, and their A grade are the best we have played at this stage, but credit to our B grade who sit undefeated now..

holding the cats to one goal in an hour of footy(and that goal came from the CHB drifting forward) is something we can build upon but the 3rd quarter was a real let down after doing so much hard work...we fought back and could have still won it..our FF kicked 1:6..and was pretty down on himself saturday night but the whole team wears the blame when you only score 5:7 - 1:0 in the 3rd..ledger reserve was in a beautiful condition as well..

and there is no respite this week as we head to Bee Park versus the undefeated hounds..tough comp this one..

There were alot of points kicked. I'd say both sides will be doing some goal kicking practice this week!

B Grade was a great game too. Some quality footballers for both sides running around.

I went down to watch the Mawson Lakes versus Ingle Farm game on the weekend and was amazed at the amount of attention that poor Robert fellow got playing in the middle, i think if he was run over by a steam train he would still come up holding the ball.
Well done young fellow i tip my hat to you.
