One of the worst umpiring performances i have seen and that is with the umpires coach umpiring.

The impact umpire needs to be shared amongst all teams that is why you get aome of the lesser umpires occasionally.

Impact coach out for 8-10 with injury!

Mad Dog might be dropped this week and the impact umpire will be back.
At least the opposing teams will decide the result and not the umpire.

Good to hear the Impact Umpire will be back. He has been missed :(

Still not good to hear that the HFL have possibly not submitted the right amount of points to some of Echunga players. Who is at fault? Echunga or the HFL? And have Echunga been playing over for the first few weeks casue of this? Someone surely has to pay for this, if in fact this is true

If we want a closer competition maybe the whole points system needs addressing?

This is just stupid now, maybe scroll back and re-read or have someone read you the explanation of what happened and how it came to be.

How can you penalize a club for NOT having played a game above their allocated points  :?

Lethal Weapon 5 coming soon to an oval near you.
Danny Glover aka "Impact Umpire" Johnson and Mel Gibson aka "Mad Dog" Taylor are back on the beat.
The good umpire/bad umpire combination won't take any prisoners.

Page 3 of my favourite book (HFL programme) lists a number of very interesting games for this weeks round 6 of Country Div footy.

Kersbrook vs Echunga - could be a low scoring game with wet weather forecast. Will Echunga win by more points than those listed on their teamsheet ?

Gumeracha vs Birdwood - sources tell me at 1/2 time Gums were down by 54 points at Ram Park on saturday, then kick the next 10 gls straight to lead at 3/4 time ! If Thommo can repeat the magic for a full 4 quarter effort, Gums players may need to place their September holiday plans on hold.

Maccy vs Kangarilla - a real blockbuster for these 2 teams with maybe more riding on it than just the 2 points ? 25 goals in 2 weeks to 'Red Muff' ..... can Kangy restrict the supply from the Maccy engine room who appear to be playing a brand of footy not seen since the days of the 'Impact Coach'.

Then there's :
Meadows vs Sedan Cambrai - Dogs will know they have a game on their hands ..... until the Marne Magpies puff out at half time.

Nairne Bremer United vs United Eagles - "Roll up, roll up", the travelling circus has come to Nairne this week.

Interested to hear the forum's thoughts on possible margins ?

Good!
I'd much rather have him umpiring than yelling at me from the sidelines...somethings never change. ;) ;)

A few 'big' games this weekend.

Gums are going to be looking to bounce back using intimidation to get a win over what seems to be an under fire Birdwood. Hard to see Birdwood not learning a thing from their past two outings and will be desperate to ensure it's not three in a row. If available the Roosters need to play men and not boys, not the week for 'blooding' youngsters.
Birdies in a close one - 1-10pts

Maccy by 5-10 goal over Kangy

Meadows and Nairne in a canter.

Game of the round could be anybody's. Looking at the scores from previous rounds the Demons might have too much fire power but it will be interesting to see if their untried back six can hold up against some quality opposition.

This is going to be the only game that really counts. And most likley the 2 Teams to be playing the last Game of the Year.
Kersbrook Vs Echunga. It will show us where Kersbrook really sit! and if Echunga can play against a bit of competition. I would say Echunga Look very impressive against Meadows and would think if Kersbrook can be within a few goals at 3 quarter time it might get interesting, as Echunga have not been challenged for 4 quarters yet!!! If Echunga play like they have been and their full team shows up i'll go Echunga by 10 Goals.

Any names you'd mention will be the difference by either side? I know the two interstate boys from sturt that caused the points chat did not play against meadows and fronted for sturt.

I also think that gums and birdies will be interesting seeing as though birdies have a few to come back in.

Is Anthony any relation to former impact coach Simon Johnson, he also used to play for Virginia in the APFL?
If so, Anthony would have access to no better advisor, mentor and student of the game than SJ.
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

Not sure about an untried back six. From last weeks team sheet i can see:
Maslin, Liston, Snell, Edmonds all playing.
Munn and Threadgold are the two missing from last years premiership side but they have been replaced by Carey and Coop.
Fairly solid back six i would think!!!!
Then trow Edwards, Bevelander and Guy rotating back there, dont think you could build a better back half using players from any other country div club.

I think he means untried as in "unchallenged" this year so far. I don't think he he saying inexperienced.
