Have seen a lot of posts on here about how this Knowles bloke has changed the culture of the club
Ha so blokes getting king hit every week & now teams being locked in change rooms waiting for cops to arrive as a near on riot is happening outside between IF supporters, Im glad the culture has changed!! how bad must it of been before he got to IF..
Really feel for the skipper who's what 44 & best player by far & still watching this rubbish they dish out every week!
0-6 good choice of coachmy kid will never play for them again

Going back 5-10 years my club (clg) had a pretty bad reputation. We stopped picking the trouble makers, recruited young blokes who were not only good players, but also good people. During this preseason the coach and footy director chatted to allot of guys about joining the club, and some we decided not to pursue as they were not the right fit for us. Yes they could play the game, but we have to look at the bigger picture. We are working really hard on our junior program and now have 4 teams. The most pleasing thing for me is seeing junior parents, coaches, commitee coming down on saturday with there kids watching the senior team then sticking around for a couple of drinks afterwards.

My family is new to CLG this year with my kids playing in the juniors and I couldnt be happier with the way the club is run. It is really a great family enviroment.

Can you sum it up in 10 words
We ****** up.. we will fix.. the end..
new coaches with best intentions, implementing rules, want to see the club turn around it's fortunes, etc, etc. nothing different to ones that have left. All soon realise that looking in from the outside is easier than being on the inside and actually having to put these statements into practice. as you have said in the past PG, unless you have 40+ blokes that are really interested and committed nothing is gonna change.
coaches forced to bend rules initially then brake rules as pressure mounts to try and get a win, more losses, season looking down the barrel, less training as can't be bothered, more losses as fitness slides becomes a vicious circle.
coaches blamed for performance with too few to do to much, so they move on, when what is really required is a whole culture change and maybe finally some hard decisions will be made whatever the outcome for the betterment of the club and some of the bad element moved on permanently.

A product of IF juniors. Very talented youngster who appears to have let his short term success and ability go to his head.

Played a very good brand of football but i also think a bit of respect has to be given to Mawson lakes for coming back and hitting the front twice in the last 2 minutes when they could of easily got beat.
All the momentum was with the Farmers but just couldn't hold on.
Also on the guys on the hill, don't take this the wrong way but how does the club allow them to sit right next to there clubrooms which are nearly empty and drink out of there own eskies all day?
Im not trying to be a smartarse, im just asking the question.
The hiil at IF has been going on for the 17 years i've been there and these guys have spent plenty in the club every year, so i don't see a problem with them drinking their own during the day. Start making bulls**t rules like that and these guys won't be there. Club is going ok and doesn't need to penny pinch over nothing

I think attitudes like this is half Ingle Farms problem. Get rid of people like this Phantom with this thought process and u are half way there.

Not the coaches fault pal.
Look at the admin and the people who are meant to make the coaches job as smooth as possible.
