What an absolutely magnificent facility Ravendale oval is, couldn't even get a game of B Grade cricket there today because after a couple of showers of rain, one end of the pitch was under 2 inches of water. Meanwhile, EVERY other ground in town was playable, as i said, truely magnificent facility, something the whole town should be proud of!!!! :x

On a brighter note, Congrats to all the Hendo Shield boys, Colts included, should be a shoe-in for the final now!!!!

Dear Le-Hunte Cricket Association,
An invitation is hereby extended for you to travel down to Port Lincoln for your Henderson Shield clash to play at 2 of the most wonderful cricket grounds going around, Centenary oval & the High School!
No seating will be provided, so please feel free to let your wives, girlfriends & kids sit on the concrete out in the sun & only use the toilets in an absolute emergency! Careful the kiddies don't knock out a tooth on the terraces!
During the lunch break, why not sample the gourmet delights of our canteen, a ham, tomato & cheese roll for a mere $6 & again, sit back on the concrete & relax.
Not forgetting the grounds themselves, a cricket lovers paradise with full value for shots & a hard, flat turf wicket with consistent bounce, a pleasure for all that bat on it!
We look forward to seeing you on the day & apologise if we run out of beer 1/2 an hr after the game finishes.
Yours Sincerly
PLCA

inside word, Brett Watherston to return to Lincoln late Feb, early March for good, & looking to get amongst it in the PLFL, would be a huge asset to any side.

Your a dill bystander, put on Sri Lanka at the WACA before the Australian Open Final WTF, You are a typical Charger Choker and anything you say from here on in we will take no notice of after that rediculous statement.
Charlton B grade wanted to play from the one end on Saturday.
Brett Watherston is the size of the RealRossco, would increase bar takings thats all.

I see Sammy further enhanced his reputation as one of the most feared bowlers on Saturday. His last two assoc games have freightened the hell out of all the other regional teams. Old Riedy of four steps had the new ball before him. Whats everyone elses thoughts should he pull out or go?
Will PLincolm get all the Hendo shield finals.

WAD should go. Who else is going to go? Its alright saying sack Sammy but who else would you send in his spot rm?
Scoob run out again?
Start perepairing the high school for the Hendo Bs final, not going to mow it in the next 3 weeks so you get toal value for shots along the ground.

Run out for the 1st time this year Mav.. You don't have to be too smart to see I aint quick between the wickets, but Snozza did put me under the pump a bit.. Bloody good throw but!!
Old Sammy not bowling well and I expect Raz Taylor and Stiffy to be in for the final. Interesting selection call coming up for captain reidy. Sammy bowls well at the carnival, so it will be no surprise if he takes wickets over there..

If the high school is unplayable we could transfer to the primary school. Or what about Kirton Point Primary?
I would send a kid, not a 30 year old on the way down. What about Rainbow? PLs leading bowler this year.
Yes biggles was doing a rain dance on Sunday. Got to share the points in a game they would have lost. Maybe if it rained for the next 76 days Charlton would win the flag because they are top? Keep dancing biggles.
Snozza I quiet enjoyed Leonies Ham and Salad rolls. Didnt you like them Chook?
Interesting scoob that he will be dropped from the PL team yet open for EP.

Just sayin' i'd rather watch the cricket than a couple of foreigners hit a tennis ball back forth to each other!!!
Are you sayin' people actually took notice of what i said before that "rediculous statement"?

Unsure weather he will play for Bostons Real Rossco? I know Waybacks and Lincoln South have put in an offer to him. At 32 and carrying more than enough weight he may hold up a few attacks at CHB for Bostons but he cant stop everything.
Bystander try thinking before posting next time! Might work!!
Did Eugene Warrior get the Mallee Park job? Has anyone heard?
