i agree, im still trying to decide how much input the shape of their ground has on their results or if its just the travel that does them in. last year we beat them by 80 odd points at our home and only just got over the line up there with pretty much the same team. maybe the Q man has a theory?

And yet, last year we beat Adelaide Uni on their home ground, which was probably the biggest ground we played on all year (equal to St Mary's).

In our losses to ML and TOS, we had few contributors and so many passengers. Was a better spread of good players against WS. There are many areas of improvement needed from individuals and the playing group as a whole.

Farmers surely have to lift this week for a win, Phantom how's the vibe and what was training like Tuesday? BFG what are you thinking scheduling Ladies Day v CU? It's obviously a tactical ploy to get them off their game because you know Carey will be in the marquee and not coaching

Three big games for tipsters this week i rekon:

Woody sth V BOS
IF V Houghton
CLG V CU

whats everyone rekon? im going with all the homes sides, after seeing woody sth and BOS in the last two i rate woodville south a bit higher, just a bit more class all over the park.

If the farmers lose this one i rekon they are just about dead certainties to be 0-9 at the turn, its a long way back from there to avoid relegation. Still think they will get up at home though as Houghton's away form is less than desireable.

The lions havent lost at home yet and are in good touch, in saying that CU are due to click and this could be the week. CLG at home should be too strong but it will be tight i rekon. also hoping the rain buggers off in time for ladies day at mortlock park. $35 bucks for the marquee wine nibbles etc. from the start of the b's to the end of the A's BARGAIN!!!

I'd throw the Lockleys v Trinity game in there also as a beauty....in fact you could toss a coin for all 5 games this week.
