what a round -

woody south defeat BOS by 98pts
lockleys over TOS by 5pts
united over CLG by 10pts at CLG
ingle farm defeat raiders by 55pts
uni defeat lakes by 10pts

3rd to 7th separated by 2 games and virtually no percentage difference between them.

impressed with woody south today, but only really in the last 35ish minutes of footy where they kicked away.

Some interesting results, basically sums up how unpredictable this div is.

Well done to Adelaide Uni yesterday they came to play from the start while we only decided to rock up at half time which by then was too late. They play their oval very well & know how to strangle the game to play it on their terms. Not your typical C grade team, they're coached like an A grade side and could cause some damage later on in the year.

Don't get any easier as we now face a fired up CLG coming off a loss who I understand are training right now as we speak

I think you find uni improvement in the last couple of weeks is because there runner is having a bigger say in the coaching of the team.

yeah just got back from a lovely sunday session riddler!

i am not a religious person but i do believe in the footy gods and they only reward honesty and we pretended for most of the day and they deemed us unfit to get the points and they were correct..well done to dutchy and his lads..great to meet you and have a chat..woodward all class..waters does all the grunt work and some younger legs given a chance by the coach helped get units back on track..no respite in this division..take your foot off the pedal for 20 minutes and you get run over..

Well Done to Wayne and the IF boys, wanted it more and got the result they deserved. As for us another game with too many passengers. Plenty of lads need to find a consistent work rate & learn how to put there head over the ball. Disappointing would be an understatement.

Your ruckman Schultz was very good I thought, bit suprised he wasn't named in your best. Very versatile and athletic and covered a lot of ground.

The umpiring left a lot to be desired though I thought
I don't normally bag umpires because i've done officiating and understand the pressures involved and that mistakes can be made, but the umpires yesterday left me scratching my head. In the 1st half there were random free kicks both ways, then in the 2nd half the free kick count must've been about 40 to 4 and really lacked consistency!

We had him against Woody South a few weeks ago and while he would not have changed the result, he is by far the worst we have had this year. To guess at decisions from the Centre Square because you can't get anywhere near the play is just not good enough!
