The bloke that headbutted Prescott must be feeling pretty ordinary today i'd expect. 3 goals in 1 minute in the goal square was a classic example of umpires being over officious.
Great win by the Flies, but well played Porties who had no bench for the last quarter.

Was that Porties new recruit Hutchinson? Besides the bad umpiring, how stupid was the lad to get involved. Seen two goals before but never 3 hahaha. Fair chance Reynella won't be the only team to get inside his head this year

Watched Morphy Parks play Happy Valley today absolute ripper effort by the Roo boys . Happy valley are fantastic move the ball well and real disciplined. The Roos just never gave up and ran hard all day .Definately proved they can match it with the top sides even though they just went down. Now the rant. Before I start taking nothing away from the valley boys as this did not favor either side but the young lad umpiring was an absolute disgrace. He has obviously been watching too much afl and just blows the whistle for the sake of it I have now watched him umpire flagstaff and the roos and also today where he has absolutely ruined both games through over umpiring and plucking frees from the other end of the ground. Mate put the whistle away and let the boys play or give up and go home and play with your train set you attention seeking loser . ahhhh that feels better. Anyway great game to watch and both sides are real contenders Roos just lack a little fitness to run out 4 quarters but plenty of talent Ruiwoldt best on for roos and number 8 fantastic for valleys think he is an Eagleton

AB, what do you possibly have to gain out of these umpiring comments? Take note of the bold champ.
Cove defeated Aldinga by roughly 35 goals today. Very disciplined side!
Half the Sharks side were u/18. Good effort from the kids!!
Umpiring wasn't too bad either ;)

Morphett Vale bouncing back to trounce Flaggy was a bit of a surprise result as well as Porties knocking off Noarlunga!
A really interesting season this one is turning out to be!!!
So has the SFL Association team been selected yet or is that Tuesday night?

Agree P32 a real interesting season. Would never have guessed that valleys would have a harder time beating the twisties than they did the emus the week before but fill credit to the twisties they put up a real good fight. Good to see that valley ruckman could keep up with their highpriced opposition. Was a great game to watch but the highlight was the twisties coach dummy spit at the umpire - classic

So at the half way mark where do we sit. Who are the suprises, who is overrated and who is the favourite

Brighton Still the clear favourites IMO
Morphett Vale Right them off if you dare, but not travellin as well as they would like May struggle
Valleys Lots of talk but have they improved. Some obvious class but do they have depth
Flaggies promising alot but can they deliver when it counts?
Shoes Winning games but less than convincing
Porties will surprise a few but probably lack genuine class.
Morphie Parks Have to be taken seriously but shouldnt go too far

Then the rest

What are peoples thoughts at the half way mark

Then the rest?
Christies only 1/2 a game from 7th could come home strong, maybe have a good draw
Reynella only 1 1/2 games out and could do some damage if they make it.
Marion only 1 game out

Marion have improved quite a bit on previous years, but their draw is what has them where they are. Still, good on them to come back from where they were as a club last year.

Edwardstown in 5th spot also depending on their draw could finish higher.
Having a good look at the ladder it will be interesting to see who will miss out of finals action with M Vale in 9th at the moment.
It may come down to the clubs draw

It always comes down to a clubs draw. I think you'd struggle to find a more inequitable draw in all of football.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

This was missed a couple of weeks ago so I thought something should be said...

We want to congratulate Scott Middleton from all of the Past and Present Players at the Reynella Football Club.
Mids “officially” retired in typical low key fashion after the Morphie Park loss two weeks ago.
Work and family commitments have become too much to juggle despite being in
Fantastic form.

Mids will be remember as one of the Reynella all time greats
Some of Mids achievements
- Dual Best & Fairest Winner
- 2nd All Time in A grade Games Played 230 games
- 2005 Mail Medal Winner
- 5 Junior Premierships (I think)
- 2010 Premiership Player
- Proven Big Game player

The boys will certainly miss his helicopter kicks, screaming voice and 30 possession each week.

There was no one a bigger critic of his game than himself, a true competitor.

Well Done Mids you should be proud. =D>
