A big thanks to Mawson Lakes who supplied the most unproffesional offcials today. Firstly a young lad umpiring the boundary was reduced to tears after the game cause he couldnt throw the ball in - it got recalled at least 25 times. he was less than 4 feet tall and must be under the official age and grown men were standing by doing sweet FA except trying to justify it - pathetic! Secondly the goal umpire chose to wear the ML colors (instead of officials colors and not to mention his constant abuse of our forwards) and when the lions were storming home awarded a point touched when it was at least a foot over the line! i know its div 6 but if you put your hand up to do a job - do it properly with some integrity!

Phantom mate your club can be bloody proud of its efforts today mate. You are certainly a club with plenty of up side. I can guarantee that your performances can match the best in the league as you showed today.

This was a game played in terrific spirit just two teams going about there footy in the way it should be played, a few big hits but all in all it was a real battle for us right till the end. I know it's hard cause you didn't get the points today but you guys should really hold your head highs, you are trying to turn things around up there and it looks to be on the right track.

On the umpires well what better umpiring could you asked for really. I believe they were great today often let the play roll on and also didn't pay stupid little free kicks for nothing.

I wish the bloke that went off on the stretcher all the best in his recovery and hope he is back fighting fit very soon. On a side note, would like to make a mention of the bloke that tagged Nathan Rayner today it was a credited to him that he kept battling all day and never really did anything outside the law. He played a really good game on him but just unfortunately when you play on blokes with that class they just know how to get the footy.

Thanks again Phantom, I wish you and all of the Ingle Farm Football Club the best of luck for the remainder of the season and we look forward to coming up against towards the business end.

Poor post mate! He was reduced to tears because he copped a barrage of abuse from your drunken supporters on the sidelines, for goodness sake man he's a kid and you were hurling phrases to him that you wouldn't hear down Hindley Street. Yes he struggled with the throw ins but he was having a crack, With our C grade playing away yesterday we were down on helpers, every club knows how hard it is to get volunteers and they don't need loud mouthed idiots on the sidelines giving lip to a child who now probably won't help out again. His dad was playing and heard it all all I can say is you're very lucky a few of his team mates had to restrain him after the match.

Did it cost you the match? No! Game was played in good spirits so don't go making a huge issue out of this crap because it just makes u sound like a whinging sore loser.

Thanks to Zed and a couple of the other CLG lads who came in for a beer afterwards, was a really good game of footy to watch nice & free flowing with plenty of goals.

cheers riddler, was a great game to watch..some excellent skills from both teams..MLFC a bit more experienced and precise when it counted..lees probably had 8 kicks for the day and nailed 7 goals..quality player who impressed me, you have some good talls and smalls so a very good balance and worthy of sitting at the top of the table..

just in regard to the kid doing the boundary..i didnt hear anyone around me abusing the kid at all, we felt sorry for him...the kid would be lucky to be 11 years old..abuse i heard was in regard to you guys actually making him do it for 4 quarters when after his first throw in we all knew he couldnt do it..there were 20 B grade players who could have done the job and yes we have made our guys do that on previous occasions after playing a game..MLFC is at fault for putting that kid in that position..he could barely get the ball over his head and it was not acceptable in an A grade game..the abuse i heard was at your officials for not putting someone in the job who could actually do it, not at the child..everyone knew he physically didnt have the strength to do it.."dad" should have realised this and demanded someone else takeover rather than subject him to "death by a thousand cuts"..

as for the goal umpire..yes he abused our forwards during the day..he wasnt in uniform and he gave a shocking "touched on the line" call in the last quarter, that an independent observer directly in line with the goals confirmed as a clear goal..we had momentum then and that would have put us 10 points down with 10 minutes to play..did it effect the result?..we will never know but MLFC had been to good leading up to that and deserved their win so we can only blame ourselves for our predicament :)

and round 9 gets no easier as we head out to trinity..

great post zed the crowd was getting angry at mlfc not at the child, if anyone says differently then that's lies. Was funny seeing some certain lakes supporters going off, when the same people were a discrace to me when I umpired the 2s (our umpire pulled out Friday arvo) funny though as I gave lakes more frees then I gave clg!

What a load of rubbish riddler. not one person from our club abused the lad. It was simply a bad decision by your club. Maybe dad shouldnt put his son in that position in the first place!

Pull your head in Blooze. Your supporters who were sitting next to the coaches box where swearing there heads off at the boundary ump. Your coaches box were swearing there heads off at the official ump and you think your shit don't stink. Scottroo you were a disgrace as a ump. If you think any different you need to have a good look at your self. You blokes want to get on here and bag the club go ahead, but two of you had every chance to raise your concerns with Riddler and someone else when u were you talking to them in the club after the game, but no you choose to come on here and talk crap.
How about growing some balls and raise it face to face.
As far as I am concerned you blokes were just as bad.

No worries mate, I thought they were two very good games of footy and played in good spirits. Ill agree to disagree about the abuse from the bloke drinking the beers next to u in the last quarter. Let's move on!

No problems agree to disagree, I was there and we never once bagged/swore at the kid, we felt for him. At the end of the day the umpires should have asked for a replacement as the kid wasn't 14 but it's div 6 and we move on to next week

Was a great game of footy, nailbiter right to the end. 11 goal third quarter got us in the game after an average 1st half and unfortunately we couldn't hold on in the last. Credit to your guys they attacked the last like we attacked the 3rd when behind and one thing we still need to work on is how to win a game when we're in that position. And as our coach said after the game, you can take positives out of it and get clapped off the ground but at the end of the day we didn't get the 2 points and that is now 3 games we have been in a position to win and haven't. What a difference those 6 points would make. On the bright side, the improvement is happening and i'm pretty excited about the 2nd half of the year and it was never gunna be a quick fix, we all knew that. Junior Smart did a great job on Raynor and had a laugh when he was BOG, but i suppose every club has their favorites and B Round did a good job on Ahmed too. Chin up boys we're not far away.

I wasnt going to reply to reply to this but why the F**K not. Firstly that is a piss poor post, you just are upset about being smashed by us, you call us unprofessional I would be looking at the piss poor excuse of coaches and runners you have, I copped a heap of abuse from your B grade coach and your B grade runner and your spastic supporters when coming off after a rolled ankle and then you guys complain when your player come off with the same thing. Do not have a go at us when you wankers are the same. ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS IM NUMBER 26 IN THE B GRADE
