Just on the umpires, do clubs have to do reports on the umpires performances or given the opportunity to provide feedback?
Do umpires get ranked?

Umpires in the Mawson Lakes v Blackfriars game left me scratching my head as well. Must say one of them was ok but one of them was a fair dinkum joke.

Mot taking anything away from the Hounds as they were clearly the better team by a long way, but when the ump is walking back to the middle at 3/4 time slapping 3 BlackFriar players on the back and saying well done leaves a funny taste in the other teams mouth.
When questioned about this the Mawson Lakes coaching staff were told to quieten down the supporters next to the coaches box or he will yellow card the whole bench and they wont be allowed on for 10 mins  s
I wish I was as good a cricketer as what Phantom tells me he is

This is definately true, no arguements there.. but unless you win it, you may as well finish last coz no one remembers you

In the defence of Wayne Knowles, he was still recovering from a recent ankle reconstruction and was clearly still heavily under the influence of hard drugs, which obviously affected his decision making skills and ability to think properly! 8)

Round 10 is upon us and it is back to where it all started just a different venue. This is how it panned out in rd 1, home team named first

Houghton def CLG by 14 pts
Lockleys def by Woody South by 13 pts
Lakes def United by 54 pts
Farmers def by Uni by 73 pts
BOS def TOS by 3 pts

Recent results would indicate that Lakes v United and Farmers v Uni will be closer games than rd 1, CLG should get home comfortably against Houghton and the other 2 could go either way.
Match of the round in my view is Woody South (1) v Lockleys (3)

BOS(4th) v TOS(5th) is close to game of the round as well..if the hounds win they go 3 games clear of TOS..demons and cats will be a beauty..demons are a real smokey to win this grade imo..good mix of age, size and types..this is the test

Agree with you Zedman, having now seen everyone i think Lockleys are the best team IMO. The top 3 will probably battle it out, but my mid season prediction would be WS V Lockleys GF with Lockleys getting up.
