"Quik" flavoured milk drink - do they still sell that? Was a favourite of mine as a kid, just behind Milo as a preference.

I never see Quik advertised these days, and never nitice it in the supermarket, although perhaps they changed the packaging..?

Talking of Milo, can't believe they changed the taste/recipe a few years ago, the powdered drink form and the bars. Although not such a bad thing given how much I used to consumed the drink - cold - half milk, half Milo powder. Couldnt have been healthy, dont drink it since they changed it.

Does anyone remember when you used to be able to listen to the TV stations on the radio?

I remember mum and dad had a second TV in their bedroom and when we watched it, we'd have the volume turned down on the TV but used the clock radio to adjust the volume.

Don't know when it was phased out, maybe late 70's early 80's?

i have a radio that picks up the tv signals, i inherited it when me old man died

Late 1990's on a School camp using our walkman's we could pick up the TV stations as we sitting on the bus getting to our final destination. Never been able to replicate it since though....
