So the silence is deafening. Is there to be the same self assured cockiness before the next game as there was before the last vic game. I could not believe the high regard in which these parents held their kids. It was sickening.......... and they got thier just deserts. Another good coaching effort from Phillips. Hides behind injury to 2 of his best. How many vics where out ? 4 was it not. Anyway hopefully now egos are put back in place the boys give a decent effort and finally live up to the so called hype over the next week or so. Time will tell. If they don't succeed surely lemon head will have to go.

Not yet confirmed he is done for the year. Has to rest for a few weeks to see if it settles down, then make an assesment from there.

And further down the draft order he goes. Starting to get a little worried for the lad that injury is going to destroy what could have been an excellent career. Fingers crossed he gets his shot and whether he's successful or not is determined by ability and not injury.

Many good kids before him has been shot down through injury and denied the chance. Its a pity but he won't be the last unfortunately.

Yes, that much is obvious...

But the point being, it depends on how much it settles down as to whether or not it is in fact season over for Troy...

Look at Michael Wundke as case in point - he had it over the summer period and is back playing now for the Panthers...

Seems to be the same story every year. Am I right 1997 was our last title? Pretty embarassing being one of the "big 4" and going 15 years without a title if that's the case.

SMAC you're on the money and I like your style - "Squeezers". I must admit Phillips and his little band of soldiers have supposedly had the best talent in the country to work with in the last 2 or 3 years and should have won titles this year and 2 years ago. Funny thing is no one interstate rates him or listens to him and recruiters think he is a tosser which many heere agree with. Many a good young kid has been burnt by this dick and many more will in the future and no titles won whilst he rules the roost.

Yep both of you guys are on the money. Having met and conversed with him this was confirmed within 2 minutes. He's burnt many young lads and turned them off the game at the highest level. Has had great talent at his disposal and delivered bugger all.....but still keeps his job. i thought under achievers were moved on in the footy world.

Sad if thats true guys. I do agree that with the talent available we should have won a couple trophies in the last few years.
