Michael Soden looks likely to coach Gumeracha next season. Has been approached to take over from Thommo.

The United Eagles must cease, the current administration has failed.............They would not get within 20 goals of even a C grade team in HFL.
The whole United Eagles program is a failure so they must stop, if in a few years time other individuals decide they would like to start a team in Callington (because of expanding population) please let the new dads run the revival.
This will be the last time I travel to that oval even for finals. As it will impact the HFL finances and I blame them for perpetuating this farce.

I sadly and reluctantly agree with all of the above. The Eagles will not listen to any help offered to them in terms of advice given from past stalwarts, or encouragement from participating C Grade clubs which would welcome and assist them in any way possible to stay afloat. This mess is the choice of Eagles' administration and the HFL. Like you Alaska, I won't visit that oval again, finals or not, unless a C Grade fixture is scheduled there.

As said many times Callington's committee have got their heads stuck you know where, how can they honestly think the way they do,they just wont listen, results are not getting any better, still big floggings,i spoke to one bloke over the summer who said he would be best player everyweek and he's a 40 yr old, nothing against him but really not an A grader. And he did get in the best players this week.

He is one of the local guns. I'm sure you will still see photos of him around the club, represented Norwood and even kicked 100 goals in a season at junior level. Won back to back flags with the Brookers but don't think he has any coaching experience?

Ryan McGahey set to become the richest man in the HFL when his weekly salary is tripled in 2013 as he takes on the coaching position of the Birdwood Football Club. Talking serious coin.

Would have to be a worry for them. We had 4 blokes turn up last night, trained and signed all from Callington. They mentioned there was others thinking about leaving but not coming our way.
