Christ, watching the footy today was easy after driving up to Pt Wakefield this morning, had to actually pull over at one stage the rain was so hard making it difficult to see.
Luckily North let me park inside Prossie Oval so I had 4 to 5 kids in my wagon all day with a great view of the footy who were dry and warm.
I got soaked but I have no problem with rain, I think I even enjoy it to a degree.
Wasn't cold today, was just wet and windy.

I love going to the footy most of all on days like today.

You're out there with the die hards and you get a real 'feel good' feeling (win lose or draw) because you have supported your team, supported the comp and you know that everyone around you is feeling the same way. And who will dare complain about the rain after the lack of it for so long? Great to hear the farmers ringing in to the radio from their tractors too!

I had a ball today, many of my friends and family were under cover but I alternated between them all and genuinely enjoyed a day when I didn't have to take photos, even spent the last quarter at the northern end to see if any hoo hah about Norths cheersquad was warranted (which it wasnt).
Only time I realised I was genuienly soaked was when I went to buy a beer in the club rooms after the game and even the money in my wallett was wet and I realised I must have caught a bit of rain today.
Never got cold though.

i'm smiling ;)

about 20 or so glenelg supporters standing on the hill, all with umbrellas. mine died on me halfway through the second quarter (photographic evidence tomorrow) ;)

raining coming down all day, we're not moving, yelling, screaming, carrying on.

go out at 3/4, giving it * to the players.

come back to the hill and there 10 times the supporters back on the hill, cos the weather had turned away.

not that i cared, we were all "yelling for the bays".

i'm still smiling ;)

Nice and wet day :D Good to see Glenelg had a BBQ tent on top of the hill for me to seek refuge under when the wind and rain made it impossible to keep my brolly up. BOOs to those who normally stand on the hill and sat in the grandstand with blankets on their legs.
3/4 time huddle was loudist I have heard for a while now.
