So get up and turn it off. Or at the least, turn up the heat.

What are you, a man or a mouse?

Impossible, there is only one switch which turns on the air conditioning that is run on a timer. So you have no control over the temperature.

Put on a jumper?
Id much rather it be too cold than too hot, easier to put more clothes on than for others to strip naked.

Have some fun - make a formal complaint to the administration.
Then raise it with everyone else you know there and get them to join in too.
It may not change anything but it will make the bureaucrats sweat, and work hard to justify not changing anything.

We have a policy in all our branches across Australia, no staff are to eat at their desk/work station.

Accordingly, each branch provides a dedicated lunch room for staff. Works well.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Yeah, we're not allowed to eat at the desk either, but doesn't stop it from happening in the break room either...

It was pretty well done but detectable once you knew what you were looking for.
I highlighted the two factors and pinned it up for the staff to check against in future.

I got caught once but finished in front.
I was at the Grand one night (it was packed) and bought a pint and 2 beams and coke, one each for the missus and her friend. handed over a $50 note, the duty manager looked at it said it was counter feit (it wasnt) and gave it back, then gave me a lecture about being more careful blah, blah, blah then gave me the drinks for nothing. Next time it was my shout went to another bar same thing happeneed, didnt take the money but still gave me the drinks.
tried it at the Marion Hotel the next day but they took it

- People who eat their lunch at their desk and the smell wafts over to my desk
- People who block aisles and walkways in supermarkets
- Hearing people's music on public transport
- Trying to get a key off a key ring
- Neighbours' barking dog(s)

Centralisation...

And the stupidity of closing the Blood Testing area of the Red Cross Blood Service in SA to save some $$$... All blood will now be tested in Melbourne...

Freaking ridiculous...

Hope my ex-colleagues at the ARCBS are OK and this stupidity can be reversed...

Centralisation may be good for the P&L statement and Balance Sheet, but it's shit for the community and the workers here.

I'm furious, I really am...
