Round 14 - Port v West @ Alberton Oval (Sat 30/6)

Postby Big Phil » Sun Jun 24, 2012 11:10 pm

The Magpies are at the bottom of the ladder and will be very disappointed with their poor showing against the Eagles last week, while the Bloods would be pretty shattered with their loss after the siren to Norwood. Both sides have a lot to play for in this clash and I would imagine it should be a lot closer than what some may think. Expect a big clash in the other battle of the Western Suburbs clubs.

With how we played on the weekend, it could be a case West by how far.

Unless of course they try and keep us under 3 goals for the game, then we could be a chance. ;)

Interesting choice to broadcast this game on TV considering the exposure Port has had this season so far and that these two teams typically draw average crowds.

I wouldn't be surprised if Port got up* in this one, but I'll go Westies by 4 goals.

I think we're shot Phillip...we can't keep enough sustained pressure on the opposition at the moment to keep them from scoring and the ball leaves our forward line too easily.
