the unwritten rules

Postby power01 » Sat Apr 28, 2007 12:58 pm

the biggest unwritten rules include...........

1/ Always show Wedgie respect as he deserves it..
2/ Continually praise REB for his ongoing witty comments..
3/ Just say yes to everything..
4/ Post on every thread that REB writes, coz he loves the attention..
5/ Read every Post that wedgie writes, which actually means you will need to read every single thread.
6/ Never say anything nasty, horrible or simply truthful or honest about either North or Norwood, coz if you do it will be the end of your life as you know it...

1. The umpires are always wrong.
2. The writers in the Advertisers are always wrong except when stating that the umpiring was poor.
3. When lower clubs like Sturt or North have a win all supporters must come out and praise their teams and coaches ad nausium.
4. If the Advertiser gives teams mentioned in rule 3 praise the paper is wrong for not going far enough.

I think that's it maybe I've missed some - feel free to add any.

OK I'll change rule 3 to be more politically correct:

3. Supporters of teams that have been doing it tough are encouraged to celebrate any wins with enthusiasm and longevity (while they are winning).

Will that do?

I'd just add to point 3 - if you are a low club and beat Port Adelaide, you must herald a "renaissance"
In between signatures .....

Come over here and say that pal. :D

OK lots of helpful new rules to add here thanks for the ideas.

I especially liked the one where you have to use an emoticon after personally attacking someone

It appears that we also need a rule about how many games in a row your team has to win before it can be called a renaissance.

There appears to be a fair difference in standards here - Sturt supporters need 3 games in a row, glenelg supporters need 1 game in a row and doggies supporters need back to back premierships.

Doggies fans get confused and call it a dynasty though. Probably because of their viewing habits and the fact that CDFC wasn't around during the last renaissance like some of the other clubs

Another rule is Sturt, they rule
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.
