Of course I wasn't there so I don't know, just thought it was interesting these comments came from someone at the club.

He's had 2 reports for how many games now? How many for a life ban. if it's 12, he reckon he won't be in the Amateur league in 3 years time. His constant little jabs and headbutts will get him kicked out in no time. Unless he grows up?

Really sounds like you are a bit bitter on the lad Bar20? Has he made you look stupid on a saturday? Dont worry mate you aint the first and i'm sure you wont be the last!

His had 2 reports for a total of 5 games a far cry from the 15 required (I think it is but unsure) for a life ban people forget the kid is still a teenager.....

Certainly not bitter on the lad. As mentioned before, I've seen the lad play and yes he can. All I'm suggesting is the way the lad is going he's going to end up with a very short life in the SAAFL. There are some players in this comp that get hit, get belted, get a bad decision paid against them and just get on with it. He DEFINITELY isn't one of them, consequently he is targeted each week. Yardy might say a little jab is no problems in our game, but if every time you get tackled or hit, you feel the need to jab or headbutt someone, then perhaps it is time for the lad to look at playing something else. Perhaps netball?

Don't worry about what Mawson Lakes are doing, you've got to get past Lockleys first

I thought it was 2 reports for 8 games and the life ban is at 12 games...not being pedantic or really even give a toss just thought if you gunna get defensive don't sugarcoat it.

Take note guys, go back for "striking" with a previous rep and you are gunna go big time. Even if you think it was nothing, the league is going to come down hard. Didn't see the incident Carey and don't wanna know, but what I have seen so far this year I support what the league is doing. We have to teach our players to be right with what they do or we will become sanitised just like the AFL is, and umpires will get even more stringent and results will be determined on their direction from the league.

Very tough day for us today. Full credit to Deano and the BOS boys, they were well and truly the better side on the day. It seems for us every step we take forward, we take two back!! Travis Hillman is a gun, that's for sure. Game played in great spirits though, some soul searching needed before we take on Dutchys units who are on a roll. 7 days can be a long time in football though.......

HDFC wishes Liam Davis all the best tomorrow in his debut for Norwood Reserves. The lads are stoked for him and we all hope he has a cracker. He couldn't be at a better SANFL club than the mighty Legs 8)

Bassett played a game for Houghton last year I reckon. Fair chance he saw him up close and liked what he saw...

Bassett got a look at him when he played that game for us last year and was interested from then on. I think Liam has switched his focus from basketball to footy, so when they approached him again just recently he jumped at the opportunity to train with them.

I told him it will be a lot easier than Div 6 because at least he won't have three blokes hanging off him and not even watching the ball

I wish him all the best too. The best contested mark I have seen in person and I know you can only rate him against his opposition but I have no doubt he will have success. All the best!
